This Supreme Court Justice just made a disturbing admission that you’ll never believe

The SCOTUS has been a point of heavy controversy over the years. But that’s now being taken to a whole new level.

Because this Supreme Court Justice just made a disturbing admission that you’ll never believe.

Over the past several years, the United States Supreme Court has made several major rulings.

The reversal of Affirmative Action and the Dobbs decision which overturned Roe v. Wade are just some of the rulings that have caused controversy throughout the United States.

But those rulings have also caused turmoil within the nation’s high court.

According to Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor, she has cried after some rulings are made that favor conservatives.

Sotomayor, a liberal justice, made the admission while speaking at Harvard University’s Radcliffe Institute last week. She was at the institute to receive an award.

“There are days that I’ve come to my office after an announcement of a case and closed my door and cried,” Sotomayor confessed.

“There have been those days. And there are likely to be more.”

She also admitted that there have been circumstances where she has been “deeply, deeply sad.”

“There are moments when, yes, even I feel desperation. We all do. But you have to own it, you have to accept it, you have to shed the tears, and then you have to wipe them and get up.”

During her remarks, she didn’t detail which rulings caused her to feel this way. But her comments were made in the wake of the reversal of Roe v. Wade and Affirmative Action.

Sotomayor had a dissenting opinion in both of those rulings and she also sides with her fellow liberal justices on almost every decision.

Her admission also comes at a time when the Supreme Court will make a ruling on the immunity of former President Donald Trump.

She and the eight other Supreme Court justices did rule against Colorado for trying to remove Trump from their primary ballot.

Colorado wanted to remove the former president over his alleged role in the January 6 riots at the U.S. Capitol.

Ruling against the Centennial State’s decision to ban Trump from a primary ballot was a no-brainer since he had not been convicted in court for his alleged involvement in the events of January 6.

But based off her track record, Justice Sotomayor won’t always be making decisions that favor the former president or the conservative base.

That’s especially true given her latest announcement that rulings that don’t go her way as a liberal justice cause her to break out in tears.
