Kirk was assassinated over three months ago. That isn’t stopping the Left from continuing to trash his legacy.
And a top Democrat uttered a truly abhorrent statement about Charlie Kirk.
During an episode of the “Politicon” podcast on Thursday, Democratic strategist James Carville launched into a heated comparison between conservative activist Charlie Kirk and Hollywood heavyweight Rob Reiner.
Carville, known for his sharp tongue and Clinton-era tactics, didn’t hold back in dismissing Kirk’s standing in the political arena.
The discussion kicked off with Carville addressing some controversial remarks attributed to Kirk about women, which apparently caught the eye of kindergarten teachers who shared them widely.
Carville encouraged listeners to dig into the details themselves, showing his disdain for the young conservative’s views.
But things took an unexpected turn when Carville referenced Kirk’s legacy.
“Charlie Kirk was not a pimple on Rob Reiner’s a** when it comes to influence, and it comes to impact when it comes to anything else,” Carville declared, making it clear he saw no equivalence between the two figures.
He wrapped up his rant by pleading, “I don’t want to say anything bad but for God sakes don’t compare Charlie Kirk to Rob Reiner. That’s not fair.”
Co-host Al Hunt jumped in to heap praise on Reiner, highlighting the challenges of living up to a famous parent.
Hunt pointed out that many offspring of legends falter under the pressure, but Reiner managed to carve out his own path.
“And, you know, being the son of the legend, as we learned in politics in other places is not easy. And there are a lot who really don’t do very well,” Hunt stated.
He continued, “And Rob Reiner, amazingly, actually surpassed his father, and his father was a legend.”
“But, it was just, it was it’s a tragic ending. But what, as you suggested, what an extraordinary life,” Hunt added.
“There is one thing we know mental heath and drug addiction it is everywhere,” Carville stated bluntly.
This exchange exposes the hypocrisy of old-guard Democrats like Carville, who prop up Hollywood liberals while trying to diminish conservative voices like Kirk.
Kirk, founder of Turning Point USA, built a massive following among young Americans tired of leftist indoctrination in schools and media.
Carville’s dismissal of Kirk ignores the real impact the conservative leader had in rallying patriots against big government overreach and cultural decay.
