Trump rocked with election news that he was hoping he’d never hear

The former president is pulling out all the stops to try and win reelection. But now he’s worried about his chances.

And Trump was rocked with election news that he was hoping he’d never hear.

For months now, former President Donald Trump has been challenging President Joe Biden to a debate.

If Trump had it his way, he’d debate Biden this very second at any venue. In fact, he’s actually told the president that he’s willing to debate him anytime, anyplace, and anywhere.

Biden has only recently come out to say that he’d debate Trump.

During an appearance on Howard Stern’s radio show last week, President Biden said, “I am, somewhere, I don’t know when. I’m happy to debate him.”

“Everyone knows he doesn’t really mean it, but in case he does, I say, ANYWHERE, ANYTIME, ANYPLACE, an old expression used by Fighters,” Trump said on Truth Social in response to Biden’s comments.

The Trump campaign has made efforts to try and get this year’s presidential debates moved earlier.

But the Commission on Presidential Debates (CPD) will continue with it’s original schedule anyway.

“The CPD is proceeding with production and broadcast plans at its four debate sites as also announced on November 20, 2023,” the CPD said to Fox News Digital.

Chris LaCivita and Susie Wiles, both campaign managers for former President Trump, were not thrilled, to say the least about the CPD’s decision to stick to the original schedule. They labeled the decision as “unacceptable” and sent an invite to “every television network in America that wishes to host a debate.”

They also asked Joe Biden’s campaign to try and get a debate scheduled for “as soon as possible.” It’s doubtful that the Biden campaign would be willing to do so.

LaCivita and Wiles’ reasoning for trying to move the debates were listed in a letter which was sent to the CPD earlier in the year.

“The Commission must move up the timetable of its proposed 2024 debates to ensure more Americans have a full chance to see the candidates before they start voting, and we would argue for adding more debates in addition to those on the currently proposed schedule,” the letter read.

Donald Trump has grown very eager to debate President Biden.

He’s obviously very confident about his chances. And honestly, he should be.

Biden’s habit of slurring together sentences and speaking nonsense on stage or in front of cameras has only increased during his time as president.

Trump knows this and knows that he can make Biden look incompetent and weak.

That would go a long way in helping the former president win a second term in the White House.
