Another Leftist politician has found themselves at the center of a controversy. It could have devastating effects for their career.

And unearthed text messages spell big trouble for this Democrat senator.

In a stunning revelation that’s got the left scrambling, Arizona Senator Ruben Gallego, a potential 2028 Democratic White House contender, unloaded on his own party in private texts, calling them out as nagging busybodies who won’t let “men be men.”

The leaked messages, dropped on X by Human Events founder Jack Posobiec, show Gallego venting frustration that Democrats have ditched their wild roots. He even mourned that they’re no longer the “party of [s*x], drugs, and rock and roll.”

Gallego didn’t hold back on the party’s image problem, blasting: “Now Dem women look like Dem men and Dem men look like women.”

The conversation kicked off with his buddy, who quipped about being Gallego’s “Republican consultant,” hyping him up by saying “somebody with a cool head and a solid plan could rise to the top” in the Dem ranks.

Gallego fired back: “Oh man have you met my party?” He added, “I have been yelling at them this whole time.”

Things got even spicier when the friend shared a meme of Rep. Rosa DeLauro, the bigwig Democrat on the House Appropriations Committee, captioned “if er*ctile dysfunction had a face.”

The pal said, “This is how the world views many of them.”

Gallego jumped right in: “They aren’t wrong!”

He kept piling on, saying Democrats come off as “the not fun party,” always “telling and correcting people.”

The senator slammed the party for “Not allowing no men to men [sic],” and not letting “Women to be hot.”

Wrapping up his rant, Gallego longed for the old days: “We used to be the party of sec [sic] drugs and rock and roll.”

The identity of the mystery texter remains unknown, and Gallego’s office didn’t respond to requests for comment from the New York Post.

Once the texts hit the internet, Gallego claimed his longtime pal “tried to exploit the situation.”

He told Phoenix’s ABC15: “It’s very heartbreaking that someone that I’ve served with and that I’ve known for 20 years decided to leak some of these messages, but I’ve been very clear about where I think the party needs to be.”

Gallego doubled down on his push for change: “I think we have to be an open and bigger tent party.” He noted his comments matched what he’s always preached.

Back in May, he stirred the pot by acknowledging that folks pushing to keep trans women out of girls’ sports raise real issues.

He said to The Dispatch: “As a parent of a daughter, I think it’s legitimate that parents are worried about the safety of their daughters, and I think it’s legitimate for us to be worried also about fair competition.”

Gallego added balance: “And I think the parents of these trans children also are worried, legitimately, about the health and wellness of their kids.”
