Vice President Harris betrays the Leftist media by doing this one nasty thing

Harris is desperate to win the election this fall. She doesn’t care which allies she tosses aside in order to achieve victory.

And Vice President Harris betrays the Leftist media by doing this one nasty thing.

It’s common knowledge that the mainstream media and most journalists hold a Leftist bias.

They usually try their hardest to cover for the Biden administration. Yet, for some reason, Vice President Kamala Harris is still too afraid to really engage with reporters and members of the media.

Sure, she held an interview with CNN that was aired last week, but it was pre-recorded and she had her running mate, Tim Walz, sit alongside her to back her up. Not only that, but she was given softball questions from CNN’s Dana Bash.

Harris’s avoidance of the press continued the other day, as she made it clear that she had no interest in talking with them.

Kamala Harris Uses Headphones To Avoid Reporters

On Monday, Vice President Kamala Harris opted for a familiar Washington maneuver to sidestep reporters’ questions as she boarded Air Force Two. With her cellphone in hand and headphones in both ears, she briskly moved past the media gathered near the steps of her official jet.

Before ascending the plane, Harris gave a slightly awkward salute, shook hands with a U.S. service member, and proceeded to stride up the stairs, keeping one hand pressed against her ear. The gesture gave the appearance that she was immersed in a conversation or following important information.

As she approached the top of the staircase, she glanced back and waved to the reporters below. With another quick adjustment of her headphones and her phone still pressed to her ear, she made her way into the aircraft.

“She may not have been a senator long, but mastered the ‘Can’t talk, on a call’ play,” NBC News White House correspondent Mike Memoli remarked on X, formerly Twitter.

Adding to the social media commentary, former Trump 2020 campaign communications director Tim Murtaugh quipped, “PRO TIP: When pretending to be on the phone when you walk past the press to your plane, do not plug in the headphones so others can see and ALSO HOLD THE PHONE TO YOUR EAR.” Murtaugh, who now writes for the Washington Times, went on to say, “This destroys the illusion and tells everyone you’re full of it … again.”

His criticism echoed sentiments shared by many online. Former Utah Congressman and Fox News contributor Jason Chaffetz didn’t hold back either, calling Harris “so fake.” Others like Breitbart reporter Elizabeth Weibel joined in on the banter, humorously suggesting, “Sorry, too busy to answer questions. I’m listening to the new Taylor Swift song.”

The jabs didn’t stop there. One user on X took the mockery further, referencing a New York Post cover headline by saying, “Kamunism avoids the press,” while another user warned, “This is a window into what a Harris presidency would be like — no transparency, no interaction with the press.”

One particularly sharp comment poked fun at President Biden’s history of stumbles: “I bet she’s listening to an audio recording of Joe counting how many steps there are so she doesn’t fall.”

While Harris’ actions drew plenty of online buzz, the real disappointment for many was the missed opportunity to question the vice president on several pressing issues. Reporters were keen to ask her about the tragic execution of six Israeli hostages by Hamas, including 23-year-old American citizen Hersh Goldberg-Polin. Harris had acknowledged the atrocity in a brief statement over the weekend, emphasizing her commitment to protecting Americans abroad.

Harris also faced potential follow-up questions regarding her recent CNN interview, where she evaded inquiries about her economic plans, her flip-flop on fracking, and her unclear position on U.S. military aid to Israel. The interview, which lasted just 27 minutes, was the only non-scripted exchange she and Democratic running mate Tim Walz had participated in since their nomination the previous month.

Curiously, Harris’ choice of wired headphones also caught attention. Politico had reported back in December 2021 that the vice president avoids Bluetooth headsets due to perceived security risks. The now-iconic footage of Harris calling then-President-elect Joe Biden after their 2020 election victory even showed her holding a pair of wired earbuds as she celebrated their win.

In stark contrast to Harris’ more guarded approach, former President Donald Trump and Republican running mate JD Vance have given at least 34 interviews, according to a report by Fox News on Tuesday.
