It’s rare that Democrats will display courage of any kind. They usually avoid anything that they deem is too difficult.

And Vice President Harris has run for the hills after this major challenge by Donald Trump.

Harris Ditches Debate With Trump

Former President Donald Trump claimed on Monday that Vice President Kamala Harris has chosen not to participate in an upcoming Fox News debate scheduled for September 4th.

“Comrade Kamala Harris has just informed us that she will NOT do the FoxNews Debate on September 4th,” Trump posted on Truth Social, using the platform to express his thoughts on the situation.

Harris’s decision to decline the debate did not come as a surprise to Trump, who attributed her refusal to what he believes is her inability to defend her record.

“I am not surprised by this development because I feel that she knows it is very difficult, at best, for her to defend her record-setting Flip-Flopping on absolutely everything she once believed in, including her statements that THERE WILL BE NO FRACKING IN PENNSYLVANIA and her HORRIBLE Performance on the Border, our ‘Border Czar,’ where millions of criminals and people from mental institutions and terrorists, have been allowed to pour into our Country, totally unchecked and unvetted,” Trump wrote.

Alternate Programming With Trump Planned Instead Of Debate

Instead of attending the debate, Trump revealed his alternative plans to host a “Tele-Town Hall” event.

The virtual town hall will be anchored by Sean Hannity for Fox News and will take place in Pennsylvania.

“It will take place in the Great Commonwealth of Pennsylvania – Details to follow!” Trump added, offering a glimpse into his strategy for engaging with voters.

Earlier in the month, Trump stated he had committed to three debates with Harris, including one organized by NBC News on September 25th, in addition to the ABC and Fox News forums.

He affirmed these details during a press conference at Mar-a-Lago.

“So we have those three dates and those networks, they’re very anxiously awaiting that date and those dates,” Trump said, noting that conversations with network executives had confirmed the plans.

While Harris has formally committed only to the ABC debate, her response to the Fox News debate invitation was more reserved.

Earlier this month, she appeared open to NBC’s invitation but hesitant about Fox News.

“Well, I’m glad that he’s finally agreed to a debate on Sept. 10,” Harris remarked on August 8th.

“I am happy to have that conversation about an additional debate, or after Sept. 10, for sure.”

Harris has yet to hold a press conference since President Biden’s decision on July 21 to withdraw from his re-election bid and endorse her as his successor.
