America has enough enemies abroad. The last thing we need is them in the Capitol building.
And Congress is in chaos after one member was caught in a terrorist group.
Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.), who claims to be fighting for “peace” following Hamas’ terror attack on Israel on Oct. 7, is a member of a secret Facebook group that has celebrated the jihadists who kidnapped and slaughtered hundreds of civilians, including at least 33 Americans.
Tlaib is a member of the Facebook group Palestinian American Congress, Fox News said, whose creator, Maher Abdel-qader, has previously referred to Israelis as not “real Jews” and questioned whether the Holocaust truly happened.
Tlaib joined the Facebook page six years ago, and it has uploaded multiple photographs of Hamas fighters following the terror group’s horrific attack on southern Israel, which killed at least 1,200 people.
The militants also kidnapped and returned to the Gaza Strip around 240 persons.
“We don’t want to throw you in the sea … we want you to ride it back from where you came,” a member of the Palestinian American Congress posted on Oct. 12, sharing a picture of an elderly Israeli woman identified as a Holocaust survivor held hostage by Hamas.
Just three days after the terror attack, one member of the group denounced “American Media” coverage of the war for making “no mention” of “the killing of Palestinian women, children and entire families killed on a daily basses [sic] by the peace loving state of Israel using American gifts of weapons and jet fighters.”
“Yesterday I didn’t see Hamas I saw the grand kids [sic] of the refugees that ethnically cleansed from their homeland attacking the grand kids [sic] of the colonists whom [sic] sent them to the Diaspora,” the post also read.
Tlaib has also accused Israel’s leadership of “ethnic cleansing” and the US administration of aiding “war crimes.”
Tlaib’s spokesman did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Tlaib was censured by the House last week for boosting content on social media that rationalized Hamas’ crimes as “resistance” and called for Israel’s annihilation.
The Michigan Democrat said in a Nov. 3 post on X that the phrase “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free” — widely interpreted as a call for the abolition of the Jewish state — was “an aspirational call for freedom, human rights, and peaceful coexistence, not death, destruction, or hate.”
Tlaib also blamed Israel for an airstrike on Gaza City’s Al-Ahli Arab Hospital, which was later found by US intelligence to be a misfired rocket from the Hamas-linked Palestine Islamic Jihad.
Tlaib’s 2018 congressional campaign finance chairman, Abdel-qader, called the hospital blast a “Israeli Nazis air strike on Ahli Arab Hospital killed more than 500 people stop the massacre now.”
According to US intelligence, the rocket killed between 100 and 300 people, with the number most likely falling on the lower end of that range.
Abdel-qader also posted films in which Jewish people were referred to as “Satanic,” which he later apologized for.
He posted Monday about a Chicago fundraiser for Tlaib and Rep. Summer Lee (D-Pa.), both of whom he said he “whole heartedly support[s]” for representing the “just cause of Palestine,” according to a flyer on his Facebook.
