Biden and former President Donald Trump are bitter rivals. But now they’ve shockingly come to an agreement.
As Joe Biden has made a deal with Trump that has the Left losing their minds.
For months now there’s been a major question regarding the 2024 presidential election.
And that’s if there’s going to be a debate between President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump.
Trump has repeatedly said that he’s willing to debate Biden pretty much anytime, anywhere, and anyplace.
The Biden campaign has been rather quiet about there intentions to have the president debate Trump this year.
But now President Biden has given an answer about if he plans to debate Trump or not.
Last Friday morning the president interviewed with Howard Stern and told the radio show host that he’s “happy to debate” Trump.
“I am, somewhere. I don’t know when. I happy to debate him,” the 81-year-old president said.
This debate announcement will be a pleasant surprise for large news/media outlets who hope to cover and host the debate.
Several weeks ago, 12 of those outlets signed a joint statement which called for the presidential debates to take place.
“With the contours of the 2024 general election now coming into clear focus, we – the undersigned national news organizations – urge the presumptive presidential nominees to publicly commit to participating in general election debates before November’s election,” the statement read.
Trump has also said that if Biden does debate him, he believes that the president “should be drug tested. I want a drug test.”
The former president made the comments while talking with radio show host Hugh Hewitt a few weeks ago. Trump told Hewitt that he felt as though Biden used drugs to help him stay sharp during a 2020 presidential debate.
“I don’t know what he’s using, but that was not, hey, he was higher than a kite,” Trump said at the time.
Donald Trump also isn’t ready to believe Joe Biden at his word about wanting to debate him.
“Everyone knows he doesn’t really mean it, but in case he does, I say, ANYWHERE, ANYTIME, ANYPLACE,” the former president said on Truth Social regarding Biden’s recent comments about debating.
Trump even wanted to hold the debate Friday night at the courthouse he was at for his hush money trial in New York.
President Joe Biden and his campaign will likely be rather stingy on the time and place that the debate is held, but at least for Donald Trump and his campaign, there seems to be a little more hope that an actual debate may occur after all.
