Americans have been wondering what the president is like when he’s out of the public eye. Now we finally have an answer.
And this former House Speaker revealed new shocking details about Biden behind closed doors.
The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) recently came out with a new report that shows just how much President Joe Biden suffers from a failing mental fitness.
One of the main sources of the report, former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R), wasn’t shy when he detailed Biden’s mental acuity.
McCarthy explained that the president displayed signs of cognitive decline multiple times during important meetings.
He also detailed how Biden had very obviously declined in his mental fitness since becoming commander-in-chief.
“I used to meet with him when he was vice president. I’d go to his house. He’s not the same person,” McCarthy said to the WSJ.
“He would ramble. He always had cards. He couldn’t negotiate another way,” he said about meetings they had in 2023.
McCarthy also explained that in May of 2023, Joe Biden would be rather sharp one day and then the next he would forget things and seem lost or confused.
“He was going back to all the old stuff that had been done for a long time. He was shocked when I’d say: ‘No, Mr. President. We talked about that meeting months ago. We are done with that,'” the former House speaker remarked.
The Biden White House was obviously not pleased with the WSJ report and denounced its content.
When speaking to the Washington Examiner, White House senior deputy press secretary Andrew Bates also called out Kevin McCarthy and the statements he made to the WSJ.
“Literally, the sole on-record critic in the entire story is Kevin McCarthy, whose interview contradicts his earlier public and private statements about finding the president sharp in their private meetings,” Bates stated.
“What’s more, Democratic members of Congress who refuted Republicans’ lies on the record were left out of the article.”
Bates also referred to McCarthy as a “proven liar” before touting Biden’s alleged accomplishments.
“President Biden inherited an economy in freefall, fraying alliances, and a spiking violent crime rate, and he turned each around with his experience and judgment, delivering the strongest economic growth in the world, making NATO bigger than ever, and forcing violent crime to a near 50-year low.”
But despite Bates’ statements, Senator James Risch (R-ID) also agreed with McCarthy that Joe Biden is just not very sharp regardless of the Left claiming otherwise.
“What you see on TV is what you get. These people who keep talking about what a dynamo he is behind closed doors – they need to get him out from behind closed doors because I didn’t see it,” Risch said to the WSJ.
It’s rather obvious at this point that President Biden is in cognitive decline.
Nothing he can do now can disprove that.
