The mainstream media has always had it out for Donald Trump and his administration. But no one was expecting this.

And this Leftist media outlet was torched by the Trump admin for this vile action.

ABC News Suspends Senior Correspondent Over Social Media Outburst

In a swirl of controversy, ABC News has suspended its senior national correspondent, Terry Moran, following a fiery late-night social media post targeting White House deputy chief of staff for policy, Stephen Miller, and President Trump. The posts, which sparked a fierce reaction from the Trump administration, were deemed a violation of the network’s commitment to impartiality.

Moran, who secured an interview with President Trump in April, took to X early Sunday to unleash a scathing critique of Miller:

“The thing about Stephen Miller is not that he is the brains behind Trumpism. Yes, he is one of the people who conceptualizes the impulses of the Trumpist movement and translates them into policy. But that’s not what’s interesting about Miller,” Moran wrote.

“It’s not brains. It’s bile. Miller is a man who is richly endowed with the capacity for hatred. He’s a world-class hater. You can see this just by looking at him because you can see that his hatreds are his spiritual nourishment. He eats his hate.”

He didn’t stop there, drawing a comparison to the president: “Trump is a world-class hater. But his hatred only a means to an end, and that end his his own glorification. That’s his spiritual nourishment.”

The posts, now deleted, were quickly captured and shared across X, igniting a firestorm. Vice President JD Vance condemned the remarks, writing, “An ABC journalist [Terry Moran] posted this absolutely vile smear of Stephen Miller. It’s dripping with hatred. Remember that every time you watch ABC’s coverage of the Trump administration.”

ABC News swiftly responded, announcing Moran’s suspension on Sunday. “ABC News stands for objectivity and impartiality in its news coverage and does not condone subjective personal attacks on others. The post does not reflect the views of ABC News and violated our standards — as a result, Terry Moran has been suspended pending further evaluation,” a network spokesperson said to the New York Post.

The timing of Moran’s outburst coincided with heightened tensions in Los Angeles, where protests erupted over Border Patrol operations near Paramount, California. Hundreds of demonstrators attempted to disrupt apprehensions, prompting President Trump to deploy 2,000 National Guard troops to quell riots that Miller labeled an “insurrection.”

Moran, no stranger to weighing in on contentious issues, has previously shared his perspective on Trump’s political persona. Last November, he posted on X, “The way to understand Trump (as I said on ABC Election Night 2016) is to see him not as a Republican or Democrat, not as a conservative or liberal, but as a Nationalist.”

He added, “And, like many nationalist leaders, he is a man with an authoritarian cast of mind and a personality to match,” while clarifying he was “not endorsing any political point of view.”

Moran’s April interview with Trump, marking the president’s 100 days in office, touched on contentious topics, including the deportation of Kilmar Abrego Garcia to El Salvador and alleged MS-13 ties.

The exchange highlighted Moran’s ability to secure high-profile interviews, even as his recent actions have drawn scrutiny.

This isn’t the first time ABC News has faced legal pushback from Trump. In December, the network settled a $15 million defamation lawsuit brought by the president over anchor George Stephanopoulos’ use of the word “r*pe” in reference to a civil s*xual abuse judgment against Trump in a case involving E. Jean Carroll. Trump has consistently denied any wrongdoing in that matter.

As the dust settles, Moran’s suspension raises questions about the balance between journalistic expression and the expectation of neutrality in an increasingly polarized media landscape.
