And a radical Leftist congressmember has called Trump this repulsive name that left him shellshocked.

A heated controversy unfolded this week after Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) accused President Donald Trump of displaying “racist” and “embarrassing” behavior during a White House meeting with African leaders on Wednesday. The Texas congresswoman’s remarks, shared via social media, created fierce backlash online, with critics slamming her for what they called divisive rhetoric.

Crockett’s criticism centered on a moment when Trump complimented Liberian President Joseph Boakai’s English during their exchange. In a video she posted, Crockett wrote, “Trump never misses an opportunity to be racist and wrong, and every day he finds a new way to be embarrassing. Asking the President of Liberia where he learned English when it’s literally the official language is peak ignorance. I’m pretty sure being blatantly offensive is not how you go about conducting diplomacy.”

The interaction in question occurred during a discussion with leaders from Gabon, Guinea-Bissau, Liberia, Mauritania, and Senegal.

Boakai expressed gratitude for the opportunity to collaborate with the United States, saying, “We want to work with the United States in peace and security in the region. We are committed to that. And we just want to thank you so much for this opportunity.”

Trump responded, “Well thank you, and such good English,” before adding, “Where did you learn to speak so beautifully?” When Boakai confirmed he was educated in Liberia, Trump quipped, “I have people at this table can’t speak nearly as well.”

Per the Advocates for Human Rights, English is indeed Liberia’s official language, though more than 20 indigenous languages and a variant called Liberian English are also spoken.

During the meeting, Trump emphasized his administration’s efforts to foster economic partnerships with African nations, stating, “In the long run, this will be far more effective, and sustainable, and beneficial than anything else that we could be doing together. I’m eager to work with each of you on your vital issues and also to discuss security,” as reported by Breitbart News.

Crockett’s accusations drew sharp rebukes on social media. “Oh girl, you’re as racist as they come. Sit down,” one user commented.

Another wrote, “You never miss an opportunity to spew race-baiting nonsense.” Others were even more direct, with one stating, “Your hate is growing. You need to step back and get help,” and another calling for her resignation, saying, “You’re a fraud and should resign!”

In contrast, some defended Trump’s remarks. An X account, Suburban Black Man, shared the same video of Trump’s exchange with Boakai, captioning it, “How can anyone hate this man? He goes out of his way to bring people good vibes.”

The White House later released a photo of Trump and Boakai side by side, both smiling and giving a thumbs-up.

This isn’t Crockett’s first brush with controversy. In March, she faced backlash for referring to Texas Gov. Greg Abbott, who uses a wheelchair due to paralysis, as “Governor Hot Wheels.”

The following month, she stirred further debate by advocating for illegal immigration and suggesting that black Americans were “done picking cotton.”

Trump recently took aim at Crockett and other leftist legislators pushing for his impeachment, calling her a “seriously low IQ individual,” according to Breitbart News.
