Treason accusation against this member of Congress changes everything

Ilhan Omar

Things are heating up. And some could end up in jail.

Because a treason accusation against this member of Congress changes everything.

Elon Musk Brands Ilhan Omar’s Remarks “Treason” as Damning 2024 Clip Resurfaces

Billionaire Elon Musk set X ablaze early Wednesday by declaring that Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) openly committed “treason” in a January 2024 speech that put Somalia’s interests above America’s. Musk’s blunt accusation came just hours after President Trump shredded the controversial congresswoman at a Pennsylvania rally.

Trump Torches Omar to Thunderous “Send Her Back!” Cheers

At a packed rally in Mount Pocono, Pa., President Trump unloaded on Omar with the crowd eating it up:

“I love this Ilhan Omar, whatever the hell her name is, with the little turban,” the president said. “I love her. She comes in, does nothing but b—h. She’s always complaining. She comes from her country, where I mean, it’s considered about the worst country in the world, right?”

“We ought to get her the hell out,” Trump roared as thousands chanted “Send her back!”

The Smoking-Gun Somalia-First Speech Musk Just Amplified

Musk reposted the now-infamous clip of Omar bragging to Somali constituents in Minneapolis that she uses her congressional seat to force U.S. foreign policy to serve Mogadishu, not Washington. The translated remarks are jaw-dropping:

“The US government will only do what Somalians in the US tell them to do… They will do what we want and nothing else. They must follow our orders and that is how we will safeguard the interest of Somalia … As long as I am in the US Congress, Somalia will never be in danger, its waters will not be stolen by Ethiopia or others. The US would not dare to support anyone against Somalia to steal our land or oceans. Sleep in comfort, knowing I am here to protect the interests of Somalia from inside the US system.”

Musk’s two-word verdict: “This sounds like treason.”

Even fellow Minnesotan Rep. Tom Emmer (R) had demanded her resignation last year, blasting the comments as “a direct violation of her oath of office” and “a slap in the face” to the Americans she swore to represent.

Omar’s Defiant Non-Apology

Instead of addressing the substance of the treason accusation, Omar lashed out at Trump on X:

“Trump’s obsession with me is beyond weird. He needs serious help. Since he has no economic policies to tout, he’s resorting to regurgitating bigoted lies instead. He continues to be a national embarrassment.”

With Musk, Trump, and millions of Americans now spotlighting the 2024 clip once again, calls are growing louder than ever for Omar to finally be held accountable for putting a foreign nation first while collecting a U.S. congressional paycheck.
