Joe’s wife loved when they had power. But now that they don’t, she’s madder than a wet hen.

And Jill Biden set to reveal all of Joe Biden’s secrets in stunning turn of events.

Jill Biden’s Memoir Aims to Rewrite History

Former First Lady Jill Biden is gearing up to share her side of the story regarding her husband’s tumultuous presidency and his abrupt withdrawal from the 2024 race, amid widespread Democratic concerns over his performance.

In an interview with the Associated Press, she described her forthcoming book as a personal look back at her time in the White House, which many critics argue was marred by policy failures and leadership questions. The memoir, titled “View from the East Wing: A Memoir,” is slated for release on June 2.

“It was kind of cathartic for me to write it, and I wrote about all the, you know, sometimes painful — but other times, most of it really beautiful moments that Joe and I shared during his presidency,” she told the AP.

In a social media video, she emphasized her intent to “set the record straight,” adding, “Parts of this story have been told, but not all of it.”

Challenging Narratives on Biden’s Health and Work Ethic

Jill Biden pushes back against accounts that painted her husband as unfit, insisting that outsiders couldn’t grasp the full picture of his dedication during a presidency plagued by crises like the lingering effects of the pandemic and economic struggles.

“I have put things in perspective,” the former first lady told the AP, claiming the book provides a “more balanced view” of Joe Biden’s tenure, which ended amid doubts about his capability to lead.

The couple addressed these criticisms during a May 2025 appearance on “The View.” Joe Biden dismissed health concerns outright: “They are wrong,” he said of those who questioned his health. “There’s nothing to sustain that, number one.”

“Number two, you know, think of what we left with,” he continued. “We left with a circumstance where we had an insurrection when I started, not since the Civil War. We had a circumstance where we were in a position that we — well, the pandemic, because of the incompetence of the last outfit, end up over a million people dying, a million people dying. And we’re also in a situation where we found ourselves unable to deal with a lot of just basic issues, which I won’t go into in the interest of time.”

Jill Biden specifically called out books on her husband’s health issues: “the people who wrote those books were not in the White House with us. And they didn’t see how hard Joe worked every single day. I mean, he’d get up. He’d put in a full day, and then at night he would — I’d be in bed, you know, reading my book, and he was still on the phone, reading his briefings. Working with staff. I mean, it was nonstop.”

The Chaotic 2024 Exit and Its Fallout

Joe Biden’s decision to bow out of the 2024 race in July came after a disastrous debate against Donald Trump, fueling party infighting and questions about his fitness that ultimately contributed to the Democrats’ electoral defeat.

He quickly endorsed Kamala Harris, who mounted a rushed 107-day campaign but fell short against Trump in November. Harris has since released her own book, “107 Days,” where she critiques Biden’s handling of the transition as reckless, highlighting the disarray left in his wake.
