A leading Leftist just made this repulsive comment about the Trump assassination attempt

Trump avoided assassination for the second time in two months. But some Democrats think it’s all one big joke.

And a leading Leftist just made this repulsive comment about the Trump assassination attempt.

In a fiery exchange on X (formerly known as Twitter), Rachel Vindman, wife of Alexander Vindman—former impeachment witness against Donald Trump in 2019—sparked controversy after downplaying an assassination attempt on the former president.

Rachel Vindman’s post on Sunday afternoon read: “No ears were harmed. Carry on with your Sunday afternoon,” in response to the second attempt on Trump’s life. The comment sparked immediate outrage, with GOP strategist and Trump campaign adviser Chris LaCivita leading the charge, calling on her husband to denounce her remarks.

However, LaCivita mistakenly referred to Alexander Vindman as the candidate for Virginia’s 7th Congressional District, a position actually held by his brother, Eugene Vindman.

In response to LaCivita’s demands, Alexander Vindman didn’t hold back and unleashed a statement that was full of talking points from someone with clear Trump Derangement Syndrome. “I condemn you. I condemn your lack of integrity, your attacks on immigrants, your desecration of Arlington National Cemetery,” he posted in a sharp rebuke, turning the conversation toward accusations of stoking political violence by Trump and his supporters.

He further added, “Your candidate @realDonaldTrump has incited political violence for a decade. He could reduce the temperature of this election cycle. But you MAGA thrive on bullying. Fact is you are all weak.”

While Alexander Vindman defended his wife, his brother Eugene Vindman, who is running for the open seat left by Rep. Abigail Spanberger in Virginia’s 7th District, took a more measured tone. “I am deeply disturbed by yet another attempt of political violence in our nation. I am grateful that no one is hurt, and thankful for the law enforcement agents who acted bravely and swiftly in the line of duty,” he posted.

But Rachel Vindman didn’t back down. Responding to critics, she unapologetically doubled down on X, posting: “Sorry you’re triggered. I mean no I’m not. I don’t care a little bit.” She followed with another post accusing Trump of years of inciting violence, particularly in the case of a crisis in Springfield, OH, where she suggested Trump had fueled the flames.

Conservative figures quickly pounced on her remarks. Hugh Hewitt, a conservative radio host, referenced the family of Corey Conperatore, implying Rachel’s comments had overlooked past violence.

Rep. Mike Lawler (R-NY) also weighed in, criticizing her for making light of a serious assassination attempt, especially given her brother-in-law’s Congressional candidacy. Rep. Mike Waltz (R-Fla.) questioned whether her stance represented the entire Vindman family.

Calls for condemnation of Rachel’s rhetoric mounted. Delanie Bomar, National Republican Congressional Committee spokeswoman, demanded Eugene Vindman publicly denounce his sister-in-law’s inflammatory statements.

Meanwhile, National Republican Senatorial Committee spokesman Mike Berg took the opportunity to connect the controversy to the president, noting that “Joe Biden met with this deranged lunatic at the White House,” referring to Rachel Vindman.

Rachel Vindman, a writer on Substack with a platform titled “Keep Moving Forward” and co-host of the podcast “The Suburban Women Problem,” has often been outspoken on political matters.

Her husband Alexander Vindman, a retired U.S. Army lieutenant colonel, rose to prominence as a key witness in the 2019 impeachment hearings, which centered on Trump’s phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. In that call, Democrats argued that Trump improperly pressured Ukraine to investigate political rival Joe Biden and his son, Hunter, while withholding military aid.

As the political firestorm continues, it seems the Vindman family is won’t ditch their radical Leftist tendencies anytime soon.
