Joe Biden can’t make anyone happy. Many of his former allies want him out.
And now Biden just humiliated himself with this groveling apology.
The White House doesn’t know how to do anything properly.
Now they’re so turned around that they’re saying sorry for offending terrorist supporters.
President Biden reportedly apologized to numerous major Muslim-American leaders after openly challenging the veracity of Gaza death toll numbers.
President Biden openly questioned the number of casualties in Gaza reported by the Hamas regime during a press conference on October 25.
“I have no notion that the Palestinians are telling the truth about how many people are killed,” Biden said.
“I’m sure innocents have been killed, and it’s a price of waging war.”
The day following his comments regarding alleged Gaza casualties on Oct. 25, Biden met with five Muslim American leaders.
During the discussion, Biden listened to the leaders identify people they knew who had been directly impacted by the Middle East conflict.
“I’m sorry. I’m disappointed in myself,” Biden told the group, according to the Washington Post.
Muslim-American leaders who met with Biden pushed him to demonstrate greater empathy for Palestinians, and Biden purportedly hugged one of the meeting attendees at the end.
According to the Hamas-controlled Ministry of Health, more than 14,000 Palestinians in Gaza have been killed in the weeks-long conflict, including many women and children.
According to sources, Israel has suffered over 1,200 casualties, the most of whom were civilians, when the Hamas terror group launched a surprise attack on Israel on October 7.
Not only has Biden received criticism and pressure from his own administration over his Gaza strategy, but some prominent Democrats have publicly disagreed with the president’s approach to the conflict.
Following the Oct. 7 strike, Biden praised US backing for Israel, but he also advocated for a pause in the battle to allow humanitarian aid into Gaza and the release of Hamas hostages.
“For weeks, I’ve been advocating to pause the fighting for two purposes: to increase the assistance getting into the Gaza civilians who need help and to facilitate release of hostages,” Biden said on Sunday.
“We know that innocent children in Gaza are suffering greatly as well.”
Beginning on Friday, Hamas and Israel agreed to a four-day cease-fire in exchange for the release of approximately 50 hostages in exchange for the temporary cease-fire and the release of dozens of Palestinian inmates.
