Joe Biden is now calling for Americans to unify. But not everyone is buying those sentiments.

And Biden was stunned beyond belief after what the widow of the Trump rally shooting victim did to him.

In a tragic turn of events at a Trump rally on Saturday, Corey Comperatore, 50, lost his life protecting his family during an assassination attempt on Donald Trump in Butler, PA.

Comperatore, who was shielding his loved ones from the gunfire, is remembered as a devoted family man and a respected community figure.

President Joe Biden attempted to reach out to Corey’s widow, Helen Comperatore, to offer his condolences. However, she refused to take the call. “I didn’t talk to Biden,” she stated.

“I didn’t want to talk to him. My husband was a devout Republican, and he would not have wanted me to talk to him.”

Corey Comperatore was well-loved in his community, having served as the fire chief for Buffalo Township in Butler County, Pennsylvania.

Friends and neighbors praised his courage and dedication. “It’s just so typical of him, the way it all happened, with protecting his wife and his daughter and just throwing himself on top of them when they hear the shooting,” said Eileen Shamanski, a family friend.

Shamanski also highlighted his positive influence on the local youth. “He was an all-around good guy who was always there to lend a hand and support not just his own children but all the other kids who were friends of their girls and on the team,” she told Fox News. “He had a just give it your all attitude, a lot of kids respected him for that, just always being there supporting, giving those pep talks to get them going. It’s going to be a big loss.”

Helen Comperatore shared that the day had been eagerly anticipated by their family as an “exciting” opportunity to support their preferred presidential candidate.

Tragically, it ended in sorrow. Describing her husband’s heroic actions, she recounted how he shouted “get down” and protected them from the gunfire.

Despite her refusal to speak with President Biden, Helen emphasized that she bore no ill will towards him. “I don’t have any ill will towards Joe Biden,” she explained. “I’m not one of those people that gets involved in politics. I support Trump. That’s who I’m voting for, but I don’t have ill will towards Biden. He didn’t do anything bad to my husband. A 20-year-old despicable kid did.”

The community mourns the loss of a man whose final act was one of unparalleled bravery and selflessness. Corey Comperatore’s legacy will be remembered by those who knew and loved him.

Biden’s Calls for Unity Come Across as Shallow in the Eyes of the American Voter

For years now, President Joe Biden has referred to Donald Trump and his supporters as threats to democracy.

His Leftist pals in politics and the media have also referred to Trump as Hitler.

That kind of rhetoric is what leads to assassination attempts. When enough people hear that a political candidate is a so-called threat to democracy or Hitler, then some radical individual will try and eliminate that candidate.

That’s almost what happened this past Saturday when Trump narrowly escaped death during his rally.

If Biden truly wants to call for unity, then he will apologize for his past rhetoric and vow to do better. But since he hasn’t done that, his desire for unity falls flat to voters across the country.
