The Radical Left has been losing major support recently. But they might not be able to recover from this newest development.
Because Biden has suffered a massive betrayal from his own supporters, and it has sent Democrats staggering.
In a resounding call for stricter immigration policies, a new poll from CBS News and YouGov reveals that a majority of Americans support instituting a new government program to deport large numbers of illegal immigrants.
This comes as the border crisis continues to escalate under President Joe Biden’s administration, highlighting a growing frustration among the American populace with the current handling of immigration issues.
The poll, conducted from June 5-7, surveyed 2,063 adults in the United States, including 1,615 registered voters.
The results indicate that 62 percent of American voters are in favor of a new measure to deport illegal immigrants who have entered the country.
This support extends across various demographics, with 53 percent of Hispanic voters also backing the action.
These findings underscore a significant shift in public opinion, reflecting widespread concern over the impact of illegal immigration on the country.
The poll’s margin of error was 3.2 percent among all respondents and 3.8 percent among registered voters.
The poll also sheds light on the upcoming presidential race, showing former President Donald Trump leading President Joe Biden in a head-to-head matchup, with Trump at 50 percent and Biden at 49 percent.
When asked about the potential outcomes of a second term for Biden, 49 percent of registered voters predicted an increase in the number of illegal immigrants entering the country.
In stark contrast, only 5 percent believed the same would happen under a second Trump term.
This stark difference highlights the ineffectiveness of Biden’s immigration policies compared to the more stringent approach taken by Trump.
The economy and inflation emerged as the top issues influencing voter decisions, with 81 percent and 75 percent of voters, respectively, citing these as major factors.
The border crisis was also a significant concern for the majority of voters, reflecting the urgency and importance of addressing illegal immigration.
Interestingly, issues such as race and diversity and climate change were deemed less critical by the electorate.
Only 37 percent of voters considered race and diversity as a major factor, while just 35 percent saw climate change as an important issue in their voting decision.
The overwhelming support for mass deportations and the critical view of Biden’s handling of the border crisis signal a significant challenge for the current administration.
The Biden administration has faced relentless criticism for its perceived failure to control the surge of illegal immigrants at the southern border, a situation that has only intensified public demand for more stringent immigration policies.
Tom Manzo, president and founder of the California Business and Industrial Alliance, criticized state lawmakers for living in a “fantasy land” when they believed minimum wage increases would help workers and businesses.
Manzo’s comments reflect a broader sentiment of dissatisfaction with government policies that are seen as out of touch with the realities faced by American businesses and workers.
As the 2024 election approaches, immigration is set to remain a pivotal issue.
The strong support for deportation measures underscores the electorate’s demand for decisive action to address the border crisis.
The CBS News and YouGov poll reveals a clear message from the American people: we want stronger immigration controls and effective solutions to the border crisis.
