Joe Biden and the Democrats are afraid of average Americans who support America First principles.
They’ve made it clear for years now. Just remember back to Biden’s September speech last year where he said “Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans represent an extremism that threatens the very foundations of our republic,” Biden said.
Re. Tim Ryan (D-OH) went even further, saying we need to “kill and confront” the MAGA movement.
That’s why it’s no surprise to find out that Joe Biden has been weaponizing the federal government to attack everyday Americans who reject his agenda.
Suburban pro-life moms promoting “conspiracy theories” and supposed anti-government suspects were two examples cited in planned “radicalization” training DVDs allegedly drafted by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) days after the Biden administration took office.
According to documents obtained through a Freedom of Information Act request by America First Legal Foundation, the department’s Office of Targeted Violence and Terrorism Prevention outlined training videos that would train bystanders how to report “radicalization suspects” in a Choose Your Own Adventure-style video series.
The document characterized a religiously devout, middle-aged suburban mom “concerned about the welfare of other children including the unborn” and an anti-government dad as potential extremists.
Other examples in the document include a white adolescent boy hurling “racial epithets” at his girlfriend and a young environmental activist.
America First Legal’s senior counselor and director of investigations, Reed D. Rubinstein, accused the agency of morphing into a “Stasi-like Deep State internal security apparatus.”
“It is a very long way from ‘see something, say something’ regarding an unattended suitcase at the airport to profiling patriotic and politically conservative Americans as abusive parents and domestic terrorists because they oppose abortion on demand and voted for former President Trump,” Rubinstein said in a news release.
“The agency is out of control.”
As stated by Mike Benz, executive director of the Foundation For Online Freedom, the so-called radicalized suspects targeted in the planning documents are ordinary Americans rather than “violent terrorists or extremists.”
Benz, a former deputy assistant for internal communications and information policy at the United States State Department, contended that DHS officials intended to create the videos to encourage citizens to police one another’s personal beliefs and report family members spreading so-called disinformation about COVID or expressing skepticism toward the United States government on social media.
“In other words, what DHS is doing is the epitome of weaponization of the federal government,” Benz said.
“Teaching everyday American citizens to police the opinions and behavior of their peers via these online training products represents just one segment of a synchronized ‘whole-of-society’ censorship effort composed of private firms, universities, and the government that has been spearheaded by DHS to target emerging narratives being popularized among the public.”
But what else should we expect from the Democrats?
They know their opinions are radical and indefensible, so they do everything they can to silence conservatives – even if they’re just a mom taking her kids to football practice.
