The tech giants in this country can’t stand the former president. They take their cues from their Leftist pals in Washington, D.C.
And this Big Tech company is involved in a major scandal after being caught hiding crucial information about Donald Trump.
Reports surfaced on X on Monday alleging that Mark Zuckerberg’s Facebook platform had mistakenly censored a photo of Donald Trump, showing him with a raised fist and a bloodied face following an assassination attempt.
The censorship was reportedly carried out by third-party fact-checkers who claimed the image had been altered. Facebook has since acknowledged the error.
The original photo, captured by an Associated Press photographer, quickly went viral on social media.
However, a doctored version of the image, which falsely depicted Secret Service agents “smiling as they surround[ed] him after the shooting,” began circulating. While the manipulated image was rightly flagged, the original photograph was also mistakenly removed.

In response to the backlash, Meta admitted the error, clarifying that the warning label was intended only for the altered image featuring the smiling agents.
Unfortunately, both the fact-checkers and their AI systems mistakenly flagged all images resembling the original AP photo for removal.
“This was an error. This fact check was initially applied to a doctored photo showing the Secret Service agents smiling, and in some cases, our systems incorrectly applied that fact check to the real photo. This has been fixed, and we apologize for the mistake,” said Dani Lever, Facebook’s Communications Director.

Meta employs third-party fact-checkers to monitor content on its platform, many of whom use AI to identify and flag misinformation.
According to Meta’s guidelines, “We also use AI to scale the work of fact-checkers by applying warning labels to duplicates of false claims and reducing their distribution.”
However, the integrity of Facebook’s fact-checking process has been called into question. A 2021 lawsuit by journalist John Stossel revealed that the platform’s fact-checkers are prone to a significant bias towards the Left.
While Facebook brags about the “independence” of these fact-checkers, their reliance on “experts” with inherent biases raises concerns about the objectivity of their work.
The incident in question occurred during a campaign event in Butler, PA, on July 13, where Trump was speaking when a gunman opened fire on him and the crowd. Trump sustained an injury to his right ear and was quickly surrounded by Secret Service agents.
The assailant, Thomas Matthew Crooks, was k*lled after firing eight shots, but not before tragically taking the life of Corey Comperatore, who died protecting his wife and daughter.\
As agents went to get Trump off the stage, he defiantly raised his fist and shouted, “Fight! Fight! Fight!”
That was the moment when the famous photo in question was taken. It’s also the photo that the Left desperately wants you to forget about because it’s an iconic rallying cry for Trump and his passionate supporters.
