Bombshell report exposes Obama for protecting these dangerous terrorists

Barack Obama’s presidency was a disaster. But we’re just now finding out how bad it really was.

And a bombshell report exposes Obama for protecting these dangerous terrorists.

Explosive Emails Unveil Obama Admin’s Alleged Sabotage of FBI Probe into Iranian Terrorists

In a stunning revelation, newly unclassified FBI emails from 2015 and 2016 paint a damning picture of the Obama administration’s alleged efforts to derail a federal investigation into Iranian terrorists. The bombshell communications suggest that then-Secretary of State John Kerry “personally” intervened to halt arrests, all in a bid to secure the controversial nuclear deal with Tehran, known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).

According to the documents, officials within President Barack Obama’s Justice and State departments didn’t just hinder the FBI—they effectively kneecapped agents tasked with enforcing U.S. sanctions against Iran.

Whistleblowers claim this interference birthed “a shadow amnesty program that protected scores of additional Iranian criminals,” leaving federal agents powerless as dozens of investigations into Iran-related crimes were quietly shelved. The reason? Obstruction from higher-ups at the State Department and DOJ made meaningful enforcement impossible.

One disclosure cuts straight to the heart of the matter: “Secretary of State [Kerry] personally told DOJ officials that they were to stand down on an arrest.” This flies in the face of Kerry’s sworn testimony before Congress in July 2015, where he assured lawmakers that Iran was being “restrained” from advancing its missile programs.

Meanwhile, Kerry’s State Department was deep in negotiations that would culminate in the JCPOA—a deal that lifted crippling economic sanctions, facilitated a prisoner swap, and, as later revealed, funneled $1.7 billion in cash to Tehran. The agreement also saw the release of 14 individuals tied to Iran’s Weapons of Mass Destruction and ballistic missile efforts.

Whistleblowers didn’t mince words about the fallout. “Kerry and the State Department sold out the safety of Americans and our allies when they provided $1.7 billion in cash to Iran which, unsurprisingly, Iran used to continue development of their weapons programs and to better equip and fund their proxies,” they alleged.

The documents tie this cash infusion to devastating consequences, including “the death and destruction seen on October 7, 2023, [in Israel],” which they call “only one of the tragic results” of the administration’s actions.

Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa), head of the Senate Judiciary Committee, brought these disclosures to light after a painstaking investigation. He described the findings as “chilling evidence the Obama-Biden administration jeopardized our national security and demoralized the morale of FBI agents who were working to keep Americans safe.”

Grassley hailed President Trump’s re-election as a chance to “restore American strength on the world stage and hold Iran accountable for its evil acts.”

The emails reveal a growing frustration among FBI officials at the time. Agents reportedly took their concerns to then-Attorney General Loretta Lynch, only to be met with inaction.

“We are all beside ourselves on asking the field to stand down on a layup arrest,” wrote bureau official Louis Bladel in a July 3, 2015, email—just days before the JCPOA was finalized.

“As it stands right now we all have to sit back and wait until all the US and Iran negotiations resolve themselves.”

Even after the deal was inked, the meddling didn’t stop. State Department official Samantha Boyer vented in a March 1, 2016, email: “[I]t’s a little like WTF that [an arrest is] being held up (if you’ll excuse the phrasing). However it is what it is.”

Meanwhile, FBI official Stacey Moye hinted at preserving evidence of the interference, writing to DOJ lawyer Jay Bratt on December 17, 2015: “should there ever be a special investigation/hearing etc. on why FBI could not action law, and potentially prevent [a] national security incident.” Bratt, who later worked on cases against Trump under special counsel Jack Smith, resigned in January 2025.

The Obama administration’s alleged prioritization of diplomacy over security has left a bitter taste for those who tried to sound the alarm.

As the dust settles on these revelations, the question lingers: at what cost did the Iran nuclear deal come?
