Biden and his family have been using Joe Biden’s privileged position in politics for personal gain for decades.
Republicans in Congress are hot in his trail, but much of their findings are either not reported or sealed behind government records law.
One conservative wasn’t going to stand by and let that happen, so they made a video that is making the rounds on social media that you have to see.
DeSantis-aligned On Tuesday, the political action committee Never Back Down issued a stinging commercial criticizing President Joe Biden on allegations that he collected $5 million in bribes from a Ukrainian oligarch.
The video accuses Biden and his son, Hunter, of collecting bribe money from the Ukrainian energy business Burisma, citing claims contained in an FBI confidential human source report obtained by Republican congressional investigators.
The commercial criticizes the Biden administration of applying a double standard when it comes to upholding laws and promotes Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, who is running for president, as the guy who can heal the country’s broken justice system.
“For years, the Biden crime family cashed in on Joe’s influence and power, especially in Ukraine where Hunter and Joe secretly received millions of dollars in bribes from the gas company Burisma,” the ad begins.
“And when a Ukrainian prosecutor tried to investigate Burisma’s corruption, Biden bribed Ukraine’s president to fire the prosecutor.”
The prosecutor was Viktor Shokin, Ukraine’s former prosecutor general, whom Biden helped to remove as US vice president in 2016. Shokin was suspected of corruption and was generally distrusted over the world. While Hunter Biden was on the board of Burisma, he was also pushing for an investigation.
Then-Vice President Biden threatened then-Ukraine President Petro Poroshenko with withholding $1 billion in US loan guarantees until Shokin was sacked.
“Well, son of a b****, he got fired,” Biden related later at a Council on Foreign Relations event in 2018.
According to the DeSantis ad, Trump’s first impeachment was part of an attempt to cover up wrongdoing and protect Biden.
“When Trump tried to get to the bottom of it, Democrats impeached him and the FBI hid Hunter’s laptop, burying the damning evidence it contained. Now, we know Biden is hoarding classified documents,” the ad says.
“And Biden’s DOJ? They don’t care. Is Biden hiding the evidence of his get-rich-quick scheme?”
The advertisement then promotes DeSantis as the guy who can rein in a renegade Justice Department and FBI. Earlier this week, DeSantis unveiled his plan to restructure the Justice Department.
“We need a president who will get to the bottom of it and end the weaponization of our justice system. Ron DeSantis will,” the ad says.
