Leftist politicians are known for not always displaying integrity when it matters. But this crosses a major line.
As Capitol Hill erupted in chaos after this Democrat was exposed for having ties with terrorism.
Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-NY) has been exposed for collecting campaign donations from an individual who was once a member of a domestic terrorist group.
The donation was submitted by Susan Rosenberg in the amount of $1,000 in July of 2021, according to campaign finance records that were discovered by the Washington Free Beacon.
Ironically, Nadler has been a massive critic of the alleged extremism of the GOP ever since the events of January 6, 2021.
Rosenberg used to be part of the terrorist May 19th Communist Organization, as well as other far-left terrorist groups like it.
She received a prison sentence of 58 years in 1988 for possessing a large amount of weaponry, including explosives and machine guns, with the purpose of using them in bombings that were motivated by politics.
In 2001, she was given a pardon by President Bill Clinton. The pardon was supported by Jerry Nadler.
Just a few weeks before Rosenberg gave her donation to Nadler, he called out “terrorists” for their role in the riots at the U.S. Capitol on January 6.
And in recent weeks after January 6, Nadler also called for those involved in the riots to “be identified, investigated, arrested, charged and subsequently prosecuted.”
So one would think that he would also be against someone like Rosenberg who was once a former terrorist herself.
But remember, hypocrisy is a common trait among today’s left.
Susan Rosenberg also allegedly gave donations to House Democrats who are part of the radical “Squad.”
The “Squad” is composed of leftists such as Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), Ilhan Omar (D-MN), Cori Bush (D-MO), and Jamaal Bowman (D-NY).
Imagine the outcry from Democrats if former President Donald Trump received a donation from a former terrorist?
There would be immediate calls for him to drop out of the presidential race.
But since a Democrat is the subject of such a donation, they’re left unscathed by the mainstream media and other Democrats.
Jerry Nadler’s hypocrisy on this issue must be called out.
Otherwise, integrity on Capitol Hill will become extinct.
