Many Catholics in America are starting to open their eyes to the lies of the left. And even Biden’s own Church is turning on his Vice President.
Now this Catholic Cardinal devastated Kamala Harris with a truth bomb she never saw coming.
Cardinal Timothy Dolan, Archbishop of New York, addressed Vice President Kamala Harris’ notable absence from the Alfred E. Smith Memorial Foundation Dinner, highlighting that the last Democratic nominee to skip the event “lost 49 out of 50 states.”

“We’re disappointed. We were looking forward to giving the Vice President an enthusiastic welcome,” the cardinal remarked on Monday during a speech at the Elizabeth Seton Children’s Center, a charity benefiting from the Al Smith Foundation’s fundraising efforts.
The sold-out 79th annual Al Smith Dinner is scheduled for Thursday, October 17, at the New York Hilton Midtown in Manhattan.
This prestigious Catholic event has long been a gathering of political figures and serves as a major fundraiser for Catholic charitable organizations.
Cardinal Dolan expressed confusion over Harris’ decision, especially since she often emphasizes unity.
“She speaks very much about the high ideals and how it’s good to get away from division and come together in unity and all, and that’s what the Al Smith Dinner is all about,” Dolan said.
He then drew a historical parallel to Walter Mondale, the last Democratic candidate to turn down the invitation, adding, “Remember, he lost 49 out of 50 states.”
Mondale, a former vice president like Harris, faced a crushing defeat in 1984 to Ronald Reagan, winning only Minnesota by a razor-thin margin.
“I don’t want to say there’s a direct connection there,” Dolan quipped, eliciting laughter from the audience. Still, he emphasized, “We’re not used to this. We don’t know how to handle it.”
Despite Harris’ decision, Dolan remained hopeful, noting that prominent New York Democrats like Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and Governor Kathy Hochul are working to persuade her to attend.
When asked if there was still a chance she might come, Dolan replied, “Yeah,” mentioning that Schumer believed her decline was due to scheduling conflicts.
Meanwhile, former President Donald Trump confirmed his attendance via TRUTH Social, making it the third consecutive time he’ll attend during a presidential election cycle. Trump took the opportunity to criticize Harris’ decision:
“It’s sad, but not surprising, that Kamala has decided not to attend. I don’t know what she has against our Catholic friends… Catholics are literally being persecuted by this Administration.”
He concluded with a direct jab at Harris’ support among Catholics: “Any Catholic that votes for Comrade Kamala Harris should have their head examined.”
As this storied tradition, dating back to the 1960 campaign between John F. Kennedy and Richard Nixon, continues, the spotlight is on Harris and whether she’ll reverse her controversial decision.
The Al Smith Dinner has long been a stage for presidential candidates to share lighthearted moments and demonstrate their ability to unify, a message sorely needed in today’s polarized political climate.
