Politics can be a dangerous game. And Schumer’s learning that firsthand.
Now Chuck Schumer is shaking in fear from this grave threat.
Democrats are barely holding on to their majority in the United States Senate.
And with an election coming down the pipes in less than a year, they know they have an uphill battle ahead of them.
Of course, everyone’s eyes are on the presidential election.
As it stands, it looks likely to be a rematch between Joe Biden and Donald Trump.
But the president is only one part of changing course in America. You still need the Senate and House if you have any hopes of passing laws.
And now vulnerable Democrats are getting a wake-up call from a top Republican.
Kari Lake, a former Republican candidate for Governor of Arizona, revealed on Friday that she is considering a run for the United States Senate.
Lake, who was defeated by Democrat Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs last year, told Newsmax that she is “seriously contemplating” running for Congress to defeat Arizona’s liberal Congress members who do not have the best interests of their residents or the United States of America at heart.
“We have a Senate seat that we could take and put an America First Senator there. We desperately need some people who are going to put the citizens of their state first when they go to the federal government, go off to the Senate or the House. I’m seriously contemplating running for Senate,” Lake said.
“We have two hardcore liberals who vote with Joe Biden 93 to 100 percent of the time, who are running. And that is not Arizona,” Lake explained.
“Arizona is not all about what Joe Biden’s about.”
“As a matter of fact, Arizona is seriously depressed about what Joe Biden is doing to our country. So, I’m giving it some thought. I might run for US Senate. I’ll make up my mind here in the next few months, and once I do, if I decide to jump in…I’ll fight to make sure we win and get a US Senate seat back,” Lake said.

Lake, an ardent supporter of former President Donald Trump, was defeated in her candidacy for governor by Arizona’s former Secretary of State, Katie Hobbs.
That election was hotly challenged due to several voter irregularities in Maricopa County, and Lake has claimed that she won and that the election was rigged.
Regarding Arizona’s US Senate race, Lake declared last month, “I’ve looked at the polling, to be honest, and I believe I’m the only one who can win that race,” according to NBC News.
And a loss for the Democrats in the Senate could upend their entire agenda regardless of what happens with Biden.
