Chuck Schumer just announced Democrats’ scheme to open the southern border

Thanks to Democrats, millions of illegal immigrants have poured across the southern border. But they’re not stopping there.

And Chuck Schumer just announced Democrats’ scheme to open the southern border.

One of the hot button issues of the Midterms was the crisis at the southern border.

In border states like Texas, Republicans saw landslide victories like in the case of Texas Governor Greg Abbott who defeated “Beto” O’Rourke by double digits.

But even with many Americans saying the border needs to be secured and the crisis is tantamount to an invasion, Democrats are forging ahead with their plan for open borders.

One of the biggest voices for breaking America’s immigration laws has been Senator Chuck Schumer (D-NY).

As far back as 1986, Schumer successfully pushed amnesty for the millions of illegal immigrants in America, promising it would slow border crossings and support the American workforce.

Of course, nothing of the sort ever happened, but that hasn’t stopped Schumer from pushing to do the exact same thing.

He recently made it clear that Democrats demand every single illegal immigrant be allowed to stay and become citizens of the United States.

“Now more than ever, we’re short of workers. We have a population that is not reproducing on its own with the same level that it used to,” the Senate Majority Leader said on Wednesday.

“The only way we’re going to have a great future in America is if we welcome and embrace immigrants — the DREAMers and all of them — cause our ultimate goal is to help the DREAMers but get a path to citizenship for all 11 million, or however many undocumented there are here.”

The first problem is his numbers. Democrats have been saying there are 11 million illegal immigrants in the country since the Obama-era.

But already four years ago in 2018, a Yale study estimated 22 million illegal aliens are living in the U.S.

And under President Joe Biden’s watch, some have estimated that 5.5 million have crossed the border.

Other methods of encouraging population expansion exist. Tax breaks for couples who marry and have children, as well as other pro-natalist policies, could be beneficial.

Nonetheless, it appears that Democrats want amnesty because they believe it will generate a new class of voters for them.

Unfortunately for border-conscious Americans, re-elected Republican Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) is already charging headlong into collaborative efforts.

“My message to the administration …. let’s find some things between the 40-yard lines that we can agree on and do them,” he said. “And we did some of that this year: infrastructure, chips, school safety, mental health.”
