Donald Trump has many targets on his back. The left is responsible for most of them.
And a Democrat congressman set his sights on Trump with a ruthless investigation.
Democrat Rep. Dan Goldman just laid bare the party’s true priorities on MS NOW’s “Deadline.”
Goldman is already fantasizing about two more years of manufactured scandals targeting President Trump.
Host Nicolle Wallace, never one to miss an opportunity to bash conservatives, pressed Goldman on whether Democrats could hold Trump accountable. Her framing painted the President as some destructive force racing to wreck the country faster than before.
This is the same corporate media echo chamber that spent years peddling hoaxes only to watch them collapse under scrutiny.
Goldman’s response revealed the vengeful mindset driving the modern Democratic Party. He openly declared his excitement about reclaiming House control to unleash investigations.
“Well, what I’m optimistic about is we take back the majority. And, you know, people like Jamie Raskin and I will be leading investigations into Trump’s corruption, into all of the cabinet officials and this gross abuse of power,” he said.
“And we will get to the bottom of a lot of it, and we will reveal it and it will become transparent. And I think part of what people seem to think they give him a pass is because he does it all out in the open.”
“Well, there’s a lot he does not do in the open, and when that comes out, it is going to be very bad for him, and very bad for the Republicans.”
This isn’t governance. It’s political warfare dressed up as oversight. Goldman and his allies aren’t interested in solving problems for working families.
They want to paralyze the Trump administration through endless subpoenas and media leaks.
The arrogance on display here is staggering. Democrats assume voters will reward them for turning Congress into a weapon against a duly elected President.
They learned nothing from the Russia collusion farce, two impeachments, and countless lawfare attempts that only strengthened Trump’s support among regular people.
While Goldman dreams of headlines attacking Trump cabinet picks, real issues fester. Factories are returning under Trump’s watch. Energy production is surging.
Illegal crossings have dropped dramatically compared to the Biden-Harris disaster. Yet the party of open borders and big government wants to investigate success instead of their own failures.
