On a recent episode of MS NOW’s “The Last Word,” Rep. Madeleine Dean of Pennsylvania made it crystal clear what her party’s priorities would be if they seize the House in the midterms.
Guest host Jonathan Capehart pressed her directly on whether Democrats would target Steve Witkoff and his work as an envoy. Dean didn’t beat around the bush.
“I’m sure we will. I’m sure that it is a responsible oversight that we will do. You’ve seen the recent reporting around, Mr. Lutnick and Mr. Trump and their sons,” she stated.
“We have to have oversight into the corruption, the cruelty, the rubble and the rot that is this administration,” she stated.
This is the same tired playbook. While everyday Americans struggle with various issues, Democrats dream of endless hearings, subpoenas, and media circus acts aimed squarely at the man who keeps delivering results for this country.
Dean’s comments expose a party consumed by personal vendettas.
Instead of focusing on securing the homeland or cutting wasteful spending, they fixate on Trump’s inner circle and any associate daring to put America’s interests first on the world stage.
The real scandal here isn’t Trump’s team working hard for peace and strength.
It’s a Democrat Congress itching to paralyze the executive branch with manufactured scandals and fishing expeditions.
