Democrat governor shocks everyone and joins forces with GOP to stop this illegal Leftist scheme

Both of the major political parties in America are heavily divided. But sometimes there are exceptions.

As this Democrat governor shocks everyone and joins forces with the GOP to stop this illegal Leftist scheme.

Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro (D) has backed the state Supreme Court’s decision that mail-in ballots lacking signatures or dates cannot be counted, taking a firm stance against four counties that chose to defy the ruling.

These counties’ actions have sparked a legal showdown with lawyers from the Republican National Committee (RNC), bringing the issue of election integrity into the spotlight.

Shapiro, in a rare alignment with both the RNC and the state’s highest court, emphasized the importance of adhering to established law.

“Any insinuation that our laws can be ignored or do not matter is irresponsible and does damage to faith in our electoral process. The rule of law matters in Pennsylvania. … It is critical for counties in both parties to respect it with both their rhetoric and their actions,” he said.

His stance contrasts with that of Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA), who downplayed the controversy, citing the limited number of affected ballots.

Speaking with CNN’s Jake Tapper, Fetterman dismissed concerns, criticizing media outlets that had prematurely called the Senate race for McCormick shortly after the election.

The RNC had previously accused Shapiro of failing to defend the court’s ruling, but his recent statements have clarified his position.

Meanwhile, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court reaffirmed its ruling in favor of the RNC on Monday, marking the second time it has sided with the committee in the dispute over defective ballots.

Bucks County Commissioner Diane Ellis-Marseglia, who voted to count the disqualified ballots in defiance of the court’s decision, openly acknowledged breaking the law but defended her actions.

“I think we all know that precedent by a court doesn’t matter anymore in this country,” she said. “People violate laws any time they want. So, for me, if I violate this law, it’s because I want a court to pay attention. There’s nothing more important than counting votes.”

While Donald Trump easily secured Pennsylvania in the presidential election, the Senate race between Republican David McCormick and incumbent Sen. Bob Casey (D-PA) remains razor-thin.

As of Monday, Casey trails McCormick by 17,439 votes out of approximately 3.9 million cast, including the contested ballots. Casey has called for a full recount, which began earlier this week.

Despite the Associated Press declaring McCormick the winner just two days after Election Day, Casey has refused to concede, leaving the race in limbo as legal battles over election procedures persist.
