The Left is starting to grow tired of President Biden. His support is quickly declining.
And a Democrat governor turns his back on Biden in stunning fashion.
Illegal immigration is incredibly out of hand in the United States.
And that’s all thanks to President Joe Biden and his failed policies which have brought about the crisis at America’s southern border with Mexico.
Republicans have been quick to call out Biden for the border crisis.
But now, Democrats are starting to come out of the woodwork and issue their criticism to the president as well.
Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) admitted that there is a problem at the border, which caused some of his more progressive colleagues to become irate with him.
And now Democrat Governor of Connecticut Ned Lamont has come out to expose President Biden for his immigration failures.
While appearing on CNBC’s “Squawk Box” last Friday, Lamont discussed how he’s tried to offer solutions to the border crisis to the president, but those solutions have been shut down.
Andrew Ross Sorkin, a co-host on the program initially asked Lamont about his thoughts on illegal immigration in the U.S.
“You may need housing for a different reason, immigration. You have people being bused up there – not in the same way that is being – that’s happening here – what do you think of the immigration problem in America, and do you think that blue states, which, for so long, thought this was a not in my backyard issue, now it is?” Sorkin asked.
“It’s in all of our backyards. Gov. [Phill] Scott (R) from Vermont and myself just wrote a letter together, two states that you don’t think are on the frontlines of immigration, it’s hitting us,” Lamont began in his response.
“I see what it’s doing to the country. They’ve got to secure the border. I tell President Biden, we’ll send the Connecticut Guard down to help you if that’s what you need to get it done.”
“And what does he tell you back?” Sorkin followed-up.
“We’re trying to get this bipartisan compromise. You know Congress. Things take a long time. They’ve got to get it done,” Lamont said.
Gov. Lamont has made efforts to assist Biden with the immigration crisis by sending the Connecticut Guard down to the border, but the president has refused.
That seems at best just utter irresponsibility from Biden.
And based off his appearance on CNBC on Friday, Lamont isn’t afraid to call the president out for it.
Now would be a great time for more Leftists to do the same.
