Democrats are kicking and screaming after this stunning truth about 2024 just broke

The reality that the Democrats’ agenda has stalled to a halt is starting to sink in. But they just got even more bad news.

And Democrats are kicking and screaming after this stunning truth about 2024 just broke.

With the House of Representatives likely in the hands of the Republican Party, the Democrats have their hands tied when it comes to passing their agenda.

And with the Senate up for grabs in the upcoming Georgia runoff election, their ability to push through Biden’s nominees is even in danger.

They started out cheering that the red wave had fizzled completely, but this could just be the calm before the storm that’s coming in 2024.

That’s why conservative pundits are calling for Ron DeSantis to run in 2024.

Defeating his Democrat opponent by a 19.5-point margin, Ron DeSantis easily walked into a second term as Florida governor.

You have to remember that DeSantis won Florida four years ago by just around 30,000 votes. But now his margin shifted to around 1.5 million.

DeSantis won 62 of Florida’s 67 counties, including 59 by a wide margin.

And he even routed Democrats in the historically liberal counties of the state.

DeSantis won Miami-Dade County, the state’s largest county and a Democrat stronghold, by 11 points. He won Palm Beach County, the state’s third largest county and another Democratic bastion, by three points.

“One stunning truth exploded like fireworks on the Fourth of July tonight: The #DeSantis era has begun,” actor James Woods tweeted. “No more limp-twisted Republican political hacks ‘reaching across the aisle’ will ever win again. This is war, and only warriors will win.”

“What a massive, crushing message DeSantis sent tonight,” Republican political analyst Scott Jennings said, later adding, “How could you look at these results tonight and conclude Trump has any chance of winning a national election in 2024?”

Some pointed to the failures endured by other Trump-backed candidates to show that DeSantis could be the future of the Republican Party.

Echelon Insights pollster Patrick Ruffini tweeted, “An election where Oz and Walker narrowly lose and where DeSantis romps by 20 points is the worst possible night for Trump and the best possible night for DeSantis.”

“Make no mistake: DeSantis should now be considered the betting favorite to win the GOP nomination in ’24,” political writer Tim Alberta tweeted.

“Ron DeSantis won his last gubernatorial race by 30,000 votes,” The Daily Wire’s Ben Shapiro tweeted. “He turned that into a historically large victory and along with the rest of the state GOP, turned a heretofore purple state bright red. Good things to remember for Republicans going forward.”

No one can doubt that Ron DeSantis has a fantastic night.

But with Donald Trump heavily implying running again in 2024, we could be facing a showdown for the Republican candidacy like we haven’t seen in decades.
