Joe Biden’s poll numbers are in a bad spot right now. Americans have had it with his awful leadership.
And a disturbing election prediction from a former Clinton official has the Biden campaign on the ropes.
Poll numbers are the last thing the Biden reelection campaign and the Left want to look at right now.
Currently, former President Donald Trump leads President Joe Biden in multiple key battleground states.
If the election were held today, Trump could very well win a second term to the White House.
Philippe Reines, a former adviser to Hillary Clinton, believes this to be the case as well.
“I have to be honest with you, I don’t know what’s going on here,” Reines said on Fox News on Monday when he was questioned about a New York Times/Siena College/Philadelphia Inquirer poll. In that poll, Trump leads Biden in five crucial swing states.
“I’m not going to pretend these numbers are good, but…I agree… if the election were tomorrow, Joe Biden would probably not win,” Reines continued.
“Thankfully though, there are 176 days between now and November 5th. Also, thankfully, the president and his team are not sitting there in a bubble thinking things are great. They know they have problems, and they know where they have problems. I think they know their best hope is to bring these folks home.”
But bringing more voters back onto your side will be a difficult task for Joe Biden.
With the economy in ruins, wars breaking out across the world, and the southern border being an absolute mess because of rampant illegal immigration, American voters are desperately wanting a change.
That desperation for change can be in seen in swing state polls which were reported on by Fox News.
The outlet shares that Trump is ahead of Biden in Arizona 49%-42%, 49%-39% in Georgia, 49%-42% in Michigan, 50%-38% in Nevada, and 47%-44% in Pennsylvania.
Biden has a small lead of 47%-45% in Wisconsin, however.
All six of those states were won by the president in 2020.
But now it’s looking as though former President Trump could carry them in November.
These poll numbers should absolutely be ringing alarm bells for the Democrats, especially Joe Biden and his campaign.
If Trump is able to flip the results of these swing states and win the presidential election, then it would be an all-time political comeback.
But as Philippe Reines likely knows, it’s not impossible for Trump to accomplish a difficult task.
In 2016 against then-presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, no one expected Donald Trump to win. Yet he pulled off the impossible and defeated the former first lady for the presidency.
