Trump’s guilty verdict shocked the nation last week. But the former president’s response to it is even more shocking.
As Donald Trump gave a haunting response to a potential sentence to jail that you have to see to believe.
After a hush money trial that spanned three weeks, former President Donald Trump was found guilty on 34 counts last Thursday.
The felony counts involve alleged business fraud that he made through hush money payments to adult film star Stormy Daniels almost a decade ago.
Trump is now considered a convicted felon and could face fines or even time in jail.
But when he was asked about the prospect of being incarcerated while interviewing with “Fox & Friends Weekend,” Trump gave a rather surprising response.
“I’m OK with it. I don’t know that the public would stand it. I’m not sure that the public would stand for it.”

Some legal experts are predicting that a jail sentence will be too harsh for the former president since he’s a first time offender and did not commit a violent crime.
But Judge Juan Merchan, the judge who presided over the case, is known as a radical Leftist judge who donated to Biden’s presidential campaign back in 2020.
Merchan’s daughter also has heavy ties with Democratic groups and is a Leftist herself.
That being said, it wouldn’t surprise anyone if Merchan threw the book at Donald Trump and sent him to jail for several years.
After all, that’s exactly what the Democrats want.
But first they need the New York Appeals Court to uphold the decision.
Trump has promised that he plans on appealing his guilty verdict with the state’s appeals court, a decision that would shoot down the Left’s hopes and dreams of seeing the former president in a jail cell.
If the verdict is upheld, then Donald Trump would be running for president as a convicted felon.
But according to the U.S. Constitution, Trump would still be able to win the presidency since there’s nothing written in it about a felon serving as president.
And based off his poll and fundraising numbers since the guilty verdict, Donald Trump has a very good chance of winning a second presidential term.
So even though the Democrats are drooling over the idea of Trump being put behind bars, they’re too ignorant to realize that the sham hush money trial brought against him could very well backfire, resulting in the former president ascending to the Oval Office in January of 2025.
