The radical Left can’t believe it. Trump isn’t getting the book thrown at him like they were hoping for.

And Donald Trump scores a major court win that has Leftists seething with anger.

An Ohio court has turned down a request from the Haitian Bridge Alliance to issue arrest warrants against former President Donald Trump and Ohio Senator JD Vance. The Haitian group sought legal action following controversial comments made by Trump regarding Haitian migrants in Springfield, Ohio.

The panel of judges overseeing the case referred it to county prosecutors but ultimately decided there was “no probable cause” to pursue arrest warrants or misdemeanor charges against Trump and Vance, according to city officials. This decision was reported by the Associated Press.

“The matter was then referred to the Clark County prosecutor’s office for further investigation,” Springfield officials stated, according to the same report.

The Haitian Bridge Alliance, a nonprofit organization advocating for humane immigration policies and providing legal and humanitarian support to migrants, filed the case in response to Trump’s statements. During a September presidential debate with Vice President Kamala Harris, Trump accused Haitian migrants in Springfield of eating pets.

“In Springfield, they’re eating the dogs, the people that came in, they’re eating the cats, they’re eating the pets of the people that live there,” Trump said, drawing outrage and concern from some in the Haitian community and its advocates.

This claim echoed earlier allegations from Springfield residents, including one man, Anthony Harris, who told a city meeting that Haitian migrants were taking ducks from a local park. He claimed the migrants were “grabbing up ducks by their neck and cutting their heads off” to eat them.

Social media posts also stoked the controversy, with one Facebook post suggesting a Haitian neighbor had k*lled and prepared a cat for consumption. However, despite the public outcry, Springfield police said they had not received any formal reports of pets being stolen or eaten.

The charges filed by the Haitian Bridge Alliance invoked a little-known right allowing private citizens to bring charges. The group sought to hold Trump and Vance accountable for allegedly inciting fear and chaos in the community. They accused the two politicians of “felony inducing panic, disrupting public services,” and “making false alarms,” among other charges.

In their ruling, the judges acknowledged the gravity of the accusations but deferred the final decision to the prosecution, citing the complexities of the case and the importance of free speech protections, especially in the context of political discourse.

They also noted the proximity to the upcoming presidential election, less than 35 days away, which heightened the sensitivity of immigration-related discussions.

The judges added, “Particular consideration should be given to the strong constitutional protections afforded to speech, and political speech in particular.”

They concluded that it was not the court’s role to assume the good faith of the affidavits, given the heated political climate surrounding immigration policies.

For now, the case remains under investigation by local prosecutors, and no immediate legal action will be taken against Trump or Vance.

The Left And Their Legal Warfare

Democrats feel as though they have to use legal warfare to stop Donald Trump from winning the presidency again.

They know Vice President Kamala Harris is a deeply flawed candidate and in their eyes they can’t afford for her to lose.

That’s why you see Democrats and these advocacy groups trying to bend the law in an effort to put the former president behind bars.

It’s a scary sight when your political opponents are working night and day to have you arrested. And that’s exactly what the radical Left is doing to Donald Trump.
