Dr. Fauci could go to jail after House Republicans exposed this massive coverup

For three years, the Left has hailed Anthony Fauci as America’s number one public servant. That all just got flipped on its head.

And Dr. Fauci could go to jail after House Republicans exposed this massive coverup.

Ever since the COVID pandemic began three years ago, Dr. Fauci has been pulling the strings.

Thanks to him, America endured years of shutdowns, and economic turmoil and thousands of American businesses closed for good.

And now we’re learning Dr. Fauci has been playing cover for the Communist Chinese.

Fresh emails obtained by House Republicans investigating the COVID-19 pandemic demonstrate Dr. Anthony Fauci’s deception.

Documents reveal he “prompted” or commissioned a scientific study created expressly in February 2020 to dispute the hypothesis that the virus leaked from a lab in Wuhan, China, and had final permission on it.

Eight weeks later, Fauci appeared at a White House news conference with President Donald Trump, citing that paper as evidence that the lab leak idea was implausible while pretending it had nothing to do with him and that he didn’t know the authors.

“There was a study recently,” he told reporters on April 17, 2020, when asked if the virus could have come from a Chinese lab, “where a group of highly qualified evolutionary virologists looked at the sequences … in bats as they evolve and the mutations that it took to get to the point where it is now is consistent with a jump of a species from an animal to a human.

“So, the paper will be available. I don’t have the authors right now, but we can make it available to you.”

Dr. Fauci emphasized the paper’s argument that a lab leak was impossible during a news conference.

The manuscript, titled “The Proximal Origin of SARS-CoV-2,” was forwarded to Fauci in draft form for editing and again for final approval before being published in Nature Medicine on Feb. 17, 2020.

It was written four days after Fauci and his NIH boss, Dr. Francis Collins, attended a conference call with the four authors to investigate reports that COVID-19 had slipped from the Wuhan lab and had been “intentionally genetically manipulated.”

The House Oversight Subcommittee released emails on Sunday in which the article’s co-author Dr. Kristian Andersen confesses Fauci “prompted” him to create the research to “disprove” the lab leak scenario.

On Feb. 12, 2020, Andersen submitted the paper to Nature Medicine with a cover email: “There has been a lot of speculation, fear-mongering, and conspiracies put forward in this space. [This paper was] Prompted by Jeremy Farrah [sic], Tony Fauci, and Francis Collins.”

Farrar, the former president of the British nonprofit the Wellcome Trust, which has long had ties to the pharmaceutical business and the Gates Foundation, was appointed chief scientist at the World Health Organization in December.

On the day the “Proximal Origin” paper was published, emails show Farrar pushing through a crucial change: “Sorry to micromanage/micro edit! But would you be willing to change one sentence?”

Farrar’s modification was to replace the word “unlikely” with “improbable” in a statement on the lab leak’s origin, making it read: “It is improbable that SARS-CoV-2 emerged through laboratory manipulation of an existing SARS-related coronavirus.”

Having a chance that is too low to inspire belief; implausible, even absurd.

That’s what Fauci and his colleagues wanted us to think about the lab leak scenario, which, as one dissenting scientist noted at the time, looked plausible from the start and is becoming more so by the day.

The GOP-led committee is particularly interested in why Fauci went to such lengths to conceal the origins of COVID-19.

They should also question the Biden administration’s new “US negotiator for the pandemic accord” at the WHO, Ambassador Pamela Hamamoto, a former campaign bundler and Barack Obama’s Hawaii schoolmate.

She voted with China last month in order to keep the details of this new international pandemic treaty secret.
