Jill Biden slaps Kamala Harris in the face with a brutal insult

The first lady and the vice president don’t have the best relationship. It’s beyond repair at this point.

And Jill Biden slaps Kamala Harris in the face with a brutal insult.

First Lady Jill Biden brought a mix of holiday cheer and light humor during her remarks at the White House Conference on Women’s Health Research.

While describing the Christmas season’s atmosphere at the White House, she borrowed Vice President Kamala Harris’s signature word, “joy,” before quickly following it with a witty remark.

Speaking to attendees on Wednesday, Biden expressed hope that the Christmas decorations would leave a positive impression.

“I’m so glad that you got to come here today because the White House is decorated,” she began. “The theme this year is peace and light. So I hope that you all feel that sense of peace and light. Just for a moment when you leave here today, when you feel — I don’t know,” she said, momentarily searching for the right term.

“A sense of joy,” Biden concluded, highlighting the need for a bright outlook during the season. “Because I think we all need to feel joy now during this time of the season. … Just during this time.”

The audience responded with laughter, seemingly catching the first lady’s nod to Harris’s campaign-favorite word. Realizing the unintentional reference, Biden playfully addressed the reaction.

“OK, you’re all reading into that,” she said, joining in the laughter before shifting the focus back to the event’s topic: women’s health.

The lighthearted moment comes amid speculation about strained relations between the Bidens and the vice president. Earlier this week, at the Kennedy Center Honors, President Joe Biden and the first lady appeared to avoid engaging with Harris and her husband, Doug Emhoff, who were seated nearby.

Observers noted that the first couple looked past the vice president and her spouse, avoiding eye contact, which some interpreted as a subtle acknowledgment of lingering tension from the 2024 presidential election.

Adding to the intrigue, Jill Biden recently attended the reopening of Notre Dame in France, where she was spotted in an amicable exchange with President-elect Donald Trump.

Social media buzzed with speculation, with some users humorously suggesting that the first lady had cast her vote for Trump following Joe Biden’s exit from the Democratic ticket.

While we may never know if Jill Biden actually voted for Donald Trump in the 2024 election, it’s obvious that she isn’t a fan of Vice President Kamala Harris.

And whether she meant for her comments about “joy” to be a dig at Harris or not, the first lady likely won’t mind people suggesting her remarks are a jab at the VP.
