House Republican Jim Jordan has no patience for the Washington, D.C. Swamp. That’s put a target on his back.
And Jim Jordan got sent this threatening letter and his response will leave you floored.
Recently, the House Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government announced that they would be inviting the Democrat Presidential candidate and Biden challenger Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to testify on censorship from social media companies.
RFK Jr. has been the focus of a ton of attention in this regard because of his views on COVID-19 that don’t line up with the “accepted” narrative from the so-called “health experts” and the Fake News Media.
Disagreeing with the agreed-upon narrative is enough to get radical Leftists and the Washington, D.C. Swamp stirred up. But he really threw them for a loop when he said it’s possible that COVID-19 was being used to target certain ethnicities more than others.
Kennedy argues that this is evidenced by the idea that Jewish people and Asians may have been immune to the COVID-19 virus more than other ethnicities.
Whether or not that is true is actually beside the point. The real problem is that the Democrats are absolutely furious that he would even suggest this.
They are so furious that they are demanding Jim Jordan disinvite Robert F. Kennedy Jr. from testifying as a witness before Congress.
The House Democrats say that Kennedy has “repeatedly and recently spread vile and dangerous antisemitic and anti-Asian conspiracy theories that tarnish his credibility as a witness and must not be legitimized with his appearance before the U.S. Congress nor given the platform of an official committee hearing to spread his baseless and discriminatory views.”
The Democrats sent House Republican Jim Jordan a letter even accusing Robert F. Kennedy of employing “techniques” that were “used by Hitler.”
Basically, they are trying to say Kennedy is trying to bring back racist ideas that were championed by Adolf Hitler.
“This technique was used by Hitler claiming that there are biological differences between ethnic or racial groups to portray Jews as a lesser form of humanity, a stepping stone to justifying the annihilation of the Jews during the Holocaust,” they said to Jim Jordan in a letter.
They then said Jim Jordan bringing Kennedy to Congress will be to “legitimize” Kennedy’s supposed antisemitism.
“Allowing Mr. Kennedy to serve as a witness before the Select Subcommittee only services to legitimize his antisemitic and anti-Asian views,” they added.
Jim Jordan isn’t standing for this nonsense, however.
The Ohio representative said he wouldn’t be disinviting Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and said that it’s okay for him to disagree with Kennedy on the issues. The whole point of the invitation is for him to speak on censorship.
“Yeah, I totally disagree with what he said, but he’s a Democrat. I disagree with other things he said too. But we’re having him because of censorship,” Jordan shared with the media.
Jordan also got backup from the House Speaker Kevin McCarthy who said that he also believes censoring Kennedy is not the right move here.
“I disagree with everything he said. The hearing we have this week is about censorship. I don’t think censoring someone is actually the answer here,” McCarthy also shared with members of the media.
This is what’s lost on the Democrats. You can disagree with someone and not hate them.
Kennedy did not attack Jewish people or Asian people. He merely wants to figure out if there’s an ethnic targeting factor to the COVID-19 virus.
You can disagree with him all you want, but he’s not being racist at all. Not that we can expect the Democrats to understand nuance with regard to these issues, though.
