Biden and his administration are falling out of favor with the Democrat Party. His list of allies just got hundreds smaller.
Because Joe Biden was blindsided by an ultimate betrayal in Congress.
President Biden has proven he is a feeble and incompetent leader.
He has been cowardly in the face of Chinese spying over the U.S. homeland – some have suspected it’s due to his ties with the Communist nation.
He has allowed millions upon millions of illegal immigrants to pour over the border.
And he has shown the American public, through his constant gaffes and questions of mental competence, that he is out of his depth.
But even with everything working against him, the Democrat Party has been oddly silent. They have neither openly opposed him nor cheered him on.
And one Congressman said what hundreds of them are thinking.
Rep. Dean Phillips (D-MN) warned this week that hundreds of Democratic politicians are concerned about President Joe Biden being the party’s choice for the 2024 presidential election, but are too terrified to speak up.
Phillips’ comments come after multiple polls found that Democrat voters do not want Biden to be the party’s nominee again for a variety of reasons, including unfavorable economic conditions, skyrocketing inflation rates, disastrous foreign policy decisions, and a widespread belief among some that he is too old and not mentally fit for office.
“This is not a knock on Joe Biden, just a wish for competition,” Phillips told The Atlantic.
“In the business world, if the dominant brand in a category had favorability ratings as the current president does, you would see several established brands jump into that category. Believe me, there are literally hundreds in Congress who would say the same thing. But they simply won’t f***ing say a word.”
The statements also come as Biden has continued to demonstrate his age in recent weeks, including a tumble on the stairs of Air Force One while touring Europe this month.
This latest incident of Biden falling comes after White House physician Kevin O’Connor claimed last week that Biden was “a healthy, vigorous 80-year-old male who is fit to successfully execute the duties of the Presidency, to include those as Chief Executive, Head of State and Commander in Chief.”
Biden’s fall comes two years after he twice stumbled while coming up the steps to Air Force One as he prepared to travel to Atlanta to meet with community leaders in the aftermath of an event in the city.
The incident in March 2021 occurred just a few months after he allegedly fell and injured his foot while chasing one of his dogs after getting out of the shower.
This summer, while attempting to speak with reporters while straddling his bicycle, Biden fell.
The fate of Biden’s future may also depend on the seemingly shallow pool of talent in the Democrat Party.
While Republicans have strong contenders like Donald Trump and Ron DeSantis, people with a proven track record, the Democrats are severely lacking.
