No one can doubt that Joe Biden and his administration have had a rough few months. But now they’re trying to burn the evidence.
And Joe Biden is planning a massive cover-up of this utter failure.
Joe Biden’s presidency has been one of the most corrupt and scandal-ridden in the history of this country.
He has refused to defend this nation from the physical threats of Chinese spying from the skies or their theft of our ideas and property.
He has edged us closer to World War III by approving billions of dollars in lethal equipment to Ukraine, who recently said justice means “our tanks will be on Red Square,” signaling they may intend to invade Russian territory.
And he has opened the floodgates at the southern border, allowing millions to cross unimpeded into this country with drugs, diseases, and crime.
Biden can’t hide Chinese balloons in the skies from the American public.
He can’t dictate what Ukraine does with the U.S. taxpayer-funded weapons he’s given to them.
But he can try to hide his failure at the border, and that’s exactly the kind of damage control we’ve come to expect from the Biden administration.
President Joe Biden’s deputies announced plans that would temporarily reduce the visible migrant inflow at the southern border before the 2024 election.
On May 11, the new curbs will take the place of the Title 42 border barrier. They will expire six months after the 2024 election, in May 2025.
“This proposed rule will establish temporary rules concerning asylum eligibility in those proceedings when the Title 42 order is lifted,” said a statement by Attorney General Merrick Garland.
The idea would reject asylum claims made by migrants who refuse to seek asylum in the several nations they pass through on their way to the United States. It would also target migrants who do not use the quasi-legal “parole pathway” provided by the Department of Homeland Security’s government smartphone app. The app lets migrants in Mexico and other countries to register for a quasi-legal, semi-secret parole passage into the United States, and it allows the administration to control the number of migrants permitted in each day and month.
According to a press statement issued by the agency:
Under the proposed rule, individuals who circumvent available, established pathways to lawful migration … and also fail to seek protection in a country through which they traveled on their way to the United States, would be subject to a rebuttable presumption of asylum ineligibility in the United States unless they meet specified exceptions.
Authorities hope that the carrot-and-stick policy of deportation or app will lessen visible border mayhem — and so reduce the danger that broadcast images of migrants surging through America’s border could harm Biden’s reelection campaign.
Pro-migration groups have slammed the idea and have threatened to sue the federal government to stop it. Nevertheless, because those progressive groups — and their corporate funders — want Biden to win in 2024, they may quietly allow the new migrant-management program to go into effect.
The new 2024 regulations may not stop the influx of economic migrants, which endangers Americans’ ability to earn a living salary and buy decent housing.
For example, Biden’s aides say they plan to bring in approximately 600,000 migrants each year through “parole pathways” and the “CBP One” cellphone app. This influx exceeds the 1 million lawful migrants allowed by Congress.
According to the agency’s announcement, 60,000 migrants have already been granted access to the parole system since October:
For those who followed the lawful process, through February 17, more than 26,000 Cubans, Nicaraguans, and Haitians were thoroughly screened and vetted, and received travel authorization. Thousands of Venezuelans (for whom the program was launched in October 2022) have already arrived: 33,800 have been screened and vetted and received travel authorization from October through the end of January.
In a nutshell, the Biden administration is going to quietly bring illegal immigrants into this country through means of a Trojan Horse instead of allowing the reality of their open borders scheme stand to scrutiny from conservatives.
