There’s no hiding the fact that Biden doesn’t put America first. But this latest action from the president is shocking.
And Joe Biden shuts down a plan to stop an invasion in the United States.
Under President Biden’s leadership, the border between Mexico and the U.S. has been wide open.
This has led to a major illegal alien influx that has plagued millions of lawful Americans.
And anytime Republicans offer up solutions to try and fix the problem, they are met with opposition from Democrats like Biden himself.
In August of this year, Rep. Nicole Malliotakis (R-NY) came forward with a proposal called the “Protecting our Communities from Failure to Secure the Border Act.”
This proposal sought to stop the government from using federal land to place illegal immigrants who were looking for housing and therefore would stop the incentive for those immigrants to try and cross the border unlawfully.
And now in the form of a statement, Joe Biden has come out to oppose Malliotakis’ act.
“The administration strongly opposes H.R. 5283, which would prohibit the use of Federal funds to provide temporary shelter to certain noncitizens, including migrants seeking asylum on Federal lands falling under the jurisdiction of the National Park Service, the Bureau of Land Management, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, or the Forest Service,” the statement said.
“The administration opposes this legislation because it would significantly restrict the ability of the Department of the Interior and the Department of Agriculture to make decisions regarding the appropriate uses of their lands and resources, even in emergency or other situations.”
The legislation brought forth by Rep. Malliotakis was originally approved by the House Natural Resources Committee earlier in the fall after illegal migrants were moved onto federal land in New York with permission from the Biden administration.
Permission from Biden and his admin developed after New York Governor Kathy Hochul (D) and Democrat Mayor of New York City Eric Adams, got desperate to try and fix the mass migration of illegal aliens that came into New York City and called on the president for help.
Biden and his team then allowed for Floyd Bennett Field, a historic airfield owned by the federal government, to be a place of housing for the illegal immigrants.
Floyd Bennett Field is operated by the National Park Service and many residents in the area use it for outdoor activities since it’s a large outdoor space.
Now residents aren’t able to enjoy the outdoor amenities of the park with migrants being housed there.
And there is real fear that other National Parks will succumb to the same fate as Floyd Bennett Field, due to Biden’s open border policies and his opposition to bills like Malliotakis’.
Not only that, but there are plenty of American citizens who feel like Biden is prioritizing illegal aliens over them.
And an argument can definitely be made for that as Biden is all for lawful citizens losing their privileges to national parks across the country.
As the 2024 election creeps closer, immigration issues like the one President Biden and his administration are facing, may come back to haunt them should things turn south on election night next November.
