The Vice President’s approval ratings are abysmal. But they’re about to get even worse.
And Kamala Harris’ career is on the rocks after her family was caught in this disturbing scandal.
The Democrat party has experienced quite a bit of infighting in the past month over the Israel-Hamas conflict.
Lawmakers on the Left like Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), have shown support for Palestine by calling for a ceasefire from Israel after Hamas (a Palestinian terror group) launched an attack that left 1,400 Israelis dead.
Ella Emhoff, the stepdaughter of Vice President Kamala Harris has joined in with Leftists like Tlaib to show support for Palestine.
In fact, Emhoff has helped raise almost $8 million for the “Palestinian Children’s Relief Fund.”
This move has caused controversy as her father and the husband of Vice President Harris, Doug Emhoff is Jewish.
Ella Emhoff, however, does not consider herself Jewish according to the New York Post.
“Ella is not Jewish. It’s not something she grew up with,” a spokesperson for Emhoff told The Forward several years ago.
“Ella truly has no qualms with the faith, but she does not want to speak on behalf of Judaism, as she does not celebrate herself.”
U.S. Rep. Jeff Van Drew (R-NJ) did not mince words in his outrage of the second daughter’s support of Gaza in the midst of the war between Israel and Hamas.
“It’s of tremendous concern, and I find it abhorrent,” the congressman said.
“To be honest with you, I am kind of stunned by it. It’s disturbing to the maximum degree.”
Rep. Drew explained that any money raised for Palestine, would be used by Hamas to inflict more terror on Israel.
Last month, Joe Biden announced “humanitarian aid” in the amount of $100 million to Palestine.
Those funds will likely be used by Hamas as well, which further solidifies President Biden’s inability to construct effective foreign policy.
And while Kamala Harris didn’t directly fundraise for Palestine, it’s still not a good look for her as the Biden administration has repeatedly declared they are pro-Israel.
The Vice President may try to distance herself from her stepdaughter’s fundraising practices, but it looks like the damage has been done.
Now Americans will have to see how Harris tries to fumble her way out of this controversy through multiple word-salads that she’s so famous for.
