The vice president is angry. If it were up to her the U.S. Supreme Court would be dismantled.
And Kamala Harris goes nuclear while lobbing attacks at Justice Clarence Thomas.
The United States Supreme Court has angered Leftists for years now.
They can’t stand the fact that the court has ruled against some of their radical causes, such as Roe v. Wade and Affirmative Action.
That’s why Democrats have made efforts to try and pack the court with Leftist justices who will rule in their favor.
Not only has the Left pushed for this, but they’ve also constantly bashed the current conservative justices on the nation’s high court. One of the justices who gets most of the heat is Justice Clarence Thomas.
During a recent interview with The New York Times, Vice President Kamala Harris attacked Thomas and the court for being “an activist court.”
“This court has shown itself to be an activist court. I worry about fundamental freedoms across the board,” Harris said.
She didn’t point out any freedoms that would be taken away because she didn’t want to sound like an “alarmist.” Harris did say, however, that “this court has made it very clear that they are willing to undo recognized rights.”
It’s likely that the vice president couldn’t point to a specific freedom being taken away because she knows that the Supreme Court wouldn’t actually take any rights away. She’s simply trying to rile up her base through fear-mongering.
Harris did mention the Dobbs decision which overturned Roe v. Wade, and explained Justice Thomas’ role in concurring with that decision. Thomas also said during that time that previous justices abused their power to grant other rights that aren’t labeled in the Constitution.
Of course, Harris believes that this means Thomas and other justices are going to try and strip Americans’ of their Constitutional rights which isn’t the case at all. Thomas simply wants the Constitution to be followed correctly and for rights to not be granted out of thin air. That seems reasonable enough, but apparently not for the vice president.
“You could even look at Clarence Thomas saying a lot of the quiet part out loud,” Vice President Harris continued.
“Just look at what he said and then maybe that gives us some indication. Just look at one of the justices to see where they might go next.”
Abortion was never a right for Americans in the Constitution.
Yet the Left acts like it was.
And the Biden/Harris campaign is now using abortion as a rallying cry this election season to try and get more votes.
Perhaps they should instead be focused on fixing the crisis at the border, inflation, rising gas prices, and the economy overall, instead of trying to make it easier for innocent pre-born babies to get m*rdered due to abortion.
But as we all know, the Biden administration has never had their priorities straight.
