In the aftermath of the recent presidential debate, President Joe Biden took steps to reassure voters and supporters of his commitment to the 2024 presidential race.
Despite facing criticism for his debate performance, Biden emphasized that he is still very much in the race.
In an e-mail sent out by the Biden-Harris campaign, Biden acknowledged the challenges of the past few days but reaffirmed his status as the Democratic Party’s nominee. “Folks, I know the past few days have been tough,” the fundraising e-mail stated.
“I’m sure you’re getting a lot of questions. I’m sure many of you have questions as well. So, let me say this as clearly and simply as I can: I’m running.”

The message underscored Biden’s determination to stay in the race, emphasizing that no one was “pushing” him out.
“I’m not leaving, I’m in this race to the end, and WE are going to win this election. If that’s all you need to hear, pitch in a few bucks to help Kamala and me defeat Donald Trump in November,” the e-mail said.
During the debate, Biden’s performance raised concerns among Democratic officials, donors, and voters.
He appeared disoriented at times, had moments where he froze, spoke with a hoarse voice, and struggled with his closing statement. This led to increased scrutiny and doubts about his ability to serve another term.
Despite these challenges, Biden continues to receive support from prominent Democrats, including former President Barack Obama, Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA), and Rep. James Clyburn (D-SC).
However, there are voices within the party, such as Rep. Lloyd Doggett (D-TX) and Rep. Raul Grijalva (D-AZ), who have suggested that Biden should reconsider his candidacy.
In response to the growing pressure, the Biden campaign has been actively reassuring supporters and donors of Biden’s commitment.
Last Wednesday, Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris held a campaign call, reiterating their determination to see the race through to the end.
As the campaign progresses, Biden’s team remains focused on addressing concerns and solidifying support to secure victory in the upcoming election.
But they’ll need to solidify as much support as possible, because if the election were held today, former President Donald Trump would win in convincing fashion according to numerous national polls.
The chaos that the Democrat Party is enduring is a massive turn-off to voters who want to cast their ballot for a candidate and a party that is deemed fit to lead the U.S.
And it’s safe to say that the Left and Joe Biden are no where close to being fit to serve the United States of America.
