Democrats are still seething over Donald Trump’s victory. They can’t believe Kamala Harris lost in blowout fashion.
And this Leftist Senator’s rage-filled election rant was caught on camera for all to see.
In the wake of Vice President Kamala Harris’s defeat in the 2024 presidential election, many of her supporters and voters are grappling with deep disappointment.
Social media has been flooded with expressions of sorrow and frustration, as Harris supporters voice their despair over the election outcome and the prospect of Donald Trump’s return to the White House.
For those disheartened by the result, Democratic Senator Cory Booker has shared a message of solidarity, urging people to channel their emotions into fighting and getting to work.
Sen. Booker (D-NJ) addressed his followers in a video shared on social media, opening up about his own struggle with the election’s outcome.
He admitted that he, too, had felt “the full range of emotion: shock, hurt, anger, fear, pain.” His message emphasized that while these are valid responses, he cautioned that there are “tough times ahead” and acknowledged that things are “not OK.”
“Like many of you in this moment, I think I have felt the full range of emotion: shock, hurt, anger, fear, pain,” Booker shared in his video’s opening remarks. “And I’ve done my share of introspection.”
Reflecting on the broader implications of the election, Booker warned of the potential challenges under a Trump administration, referencing Project 2025, and the former president’s threats of retribution and even prosecution for those who opposed him.
“So yeah, it’s hard now, and there are tough times ahead. Things are not OK,” he said. “We should feel grief but never despair. We should be angry but not bitter, sad but not cynical. This is a defeat, but we are not defeated. I promise you, there is something in all of us that is unconquerable.”
To those discouraged by the election, Booker offered a reminder of the resilience demonstrated by past generations. He pointed to historical leaders and pivotal moments that moved the nation forward despite hardship, urging people to find inspiration in the past.
“Our ancestors’ legacy to us is a master’s class in invincible spirit, to never giving up, to unconquerable love,” he declared. “I don’t know for sure what’s going to happen. We have to be ready, though, to stand up and do the work. I know we may lose some of the fights ahead, but if we fight, we will win some, too.”
Booker concluded by calling for unity and compassion, qualities he believes the country and world need now more than ever, even though his party is responsible for much of the divisiveness that’s plaguing the country right now.
“We can still help people. We can still protect people. We can still put our arms around folks, and to someone today, we can be a ray of light in a dark, tough time,” he urged.
“We can, we will, do good. Because no righteous word, no noble act, no kind deed, is ever in vain. We are our ancestors’ dreams and the only hope for a better tomorrow. Let’s be hope, not look for it, and let’s start now.”
And sure, Booker’s words are admirable in the sense that he’s being perseverent, but this outlook of his falls on deaf ears to many Americans who voted for Trump because they felt that the Democrat Party under Kamala Harris’s leadership would only worsen in it’s attempt to divide Americans who don’t think like them.
Maybe Leftists like Cory Booker will learn their lesson by the time the next elections roll around. But let’s face it, they will likely be back ready to divide people once again before people head to the ballot box.
