Many major pharma companies are being exposed left and right. But this newest incident has people genuinely horrified.
And a liberal drug company has been caught illegally testing drugs on children.
In a new lawsuit, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton has revealed that Pfizer and Tris Pharma, two major pharmaceutical companies, have been defrauding the Texas Medicaid program by providing an adulterated ADHD medication to children.
According to Paxton’s investigation, Pfizer and Tris doctored testing data on the drug Quillivant, despite knowing that it had serious manufacturing issues.
This allowed them to keep the drug on the market and continue to profit from its sale, even though it was not effective and could potentially harm children.
According to the lawsuit, the head of technology for Tris knew of the “substandard manufacturing practices” during his time there from 2013 to 2017 but refused to say anything.
“I am horrified by the dishonesty we uncovered in this investigation,” Paxton said in a statement.
“Pfizer and Tris intentionally concealed and failed to disclose the issues with Quillivant to receive taxpayer-funded benefits through Texas Medicaid, defrauding the state and endangering children,” he continued.
Both of these liberal pharma companies have decided that their profits were more important than the health of the children they were supposed to be helping.
The Texas Attorney General’s Office is now suing Pfizer and Tris for their actions. They are seeking unspecified damages, as well as an injunction to prevent the companies from continuing to sell Quillivant in Texas.
This is a welcome step, but it is far from justice. Pfizer and Tris need to be held accountable for their actions.
They need to be forced to pay for the harm they have caused, and they need to be prevented from repeating their mistakes in the future.
Both of these companies have made it a practice to put American lives in danger, and now by putting children’s lives in danger as well, they need to be completely shut down.
The American people are tired of big pharma putting profits over people. We demand better from the companies we trust to provide us with life-saving medications.
This is not the first time that big pharma has been caught putting profits over people. There have been numerous cases of pharmaceutical companies misleading doctors and patients about the risks of their drugs, and even paying off doctors to prescribe their medications.
We need to hold big pharma accountable for its actions. We need to enact stricter regulations to prevent these companies from harming people, and we need to support politicians who are committed to putting the interests of the people first.
Pfizer and Tris Pharma have defrauded the Texas Medicaid program and endangered children. This is an unacceptable breach of trust, and it is time for them to be held accountable.
We must stand up for the health and safety of our children. We must demand better from big pharma.
Joe Biden has allowed companies like Tris and Pfizer to walk free without regulating them or punishing them, and he is so in love with Pfizer that it would not be a stretch to assume he also knew about the illegal testing but refused to do anything.
The American people deserve to know the truth and we demand that pharma companies be held accountable.
