MSNBC host launches an all out assault on this top Democrat in a rare move

The cable news outlet is almost always on the side of the Left. But now they’ve suddenly changed their tune.

And an MSNBC host has launched an all out assault on this top Democrat in a rare move.

In a recent episode of MSNBC’s “The Weekend,” Symone Sanders-Townsend, former adviser to President Biden and spokesperson for Vice President Kamala Harris, shared sharp criticism of former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s role in Biden’s exit from the 2024 race.

Sanders-Townsend argued that Pelosi’s actions ultimately paved the way for Harris’s loss to Donald Trump in the general election.

Sanders-Townsend, who joined MSNBC in 2022, addressed Pelosi’s influence during a panel discussion that examined the Democratic Party’s missteps.

Referring to Pelosi’s impact on the election, Sanders-Townsend contended that Pelosi deserves to share some of the blame for the outcome, according to Mediaite.

Leah Daughtry, a fellow panelist and co-chair of the Democratic National Committee’s Rules Committee, pointed to a lack of insight from Capitol Hill leaders, saying, “With all due respect, a lot of people on Capitol Hill, they don’t have the answers.”

Sanders-Townsend responded bluntly, “I’m gonna say it if she ain’t gonna say it — Nancy Pelosi, everybody talks about how the speaker emerita, you know, she’s so strategic, she can count, she did all of that when she was the speaker in Congress, but my question is: Where is your calculator now?”

She further suggested that Pelosi’s decision to push Biden out of the race contributed to the Democrats’ challenges, including losing control of the House.

“She played in presidential politics this cycle, and she helped orchestrate the very public demise of the president,” Sanders-Townsend said.

Expressing appreciation for Biden, Sanders-Townsend noted, “And thank God for Joe Biden, that he came out and, yes, endorsed his VP. ‘Cause these people wanted an open primary! For what?”

In the wake of Biden’s departure, Pelosi had publicly criticized him for not stepping aside sooner to enable an open primary.

“Had the president gotten out sooner, there may have been other candidates in the race,” Pelosi said in a podcast interview with the New York Times, adding that an earlier withdrawal “would have been different.”

Pelosi’s view was that Biden’s immediate endorsement of Harris “made it almost impossible to have a primary at that time.”

Pelosi was among senior Democrats who nudged Biden aside after a problematic debate performance in June, during which he struggled with memory lapses and coherence.

In her words, “We live with what happened, and because the president endorsed Kamala Harris immediately, that really made it almost impossible to have a primary at that time. If it had been much earlier, it would have been different.”

The Left isn’t taking their Election Day defeat very well it seems. Infighting is only just beginning with the Democrat Party.

There’s a lot of finger pointing going on, but what the Left doesn’t realize is that their radical, woke agenda is a main contributor for why Republicans won the White House, the Senate, and the House this election cycle.
