Nancy Pelosi completely loses her mind after she went on The View

Pelosi is on the way out, for sure. But she still will do anything to protect her friends.

And now Nancy Pelosi completely lost her mind after she went on The View.

Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., once again showcased her penchant for political maneuvering during her appearance on Monday’s episode of “The View,” where she claimed there was an “open” process for the Democratic nomination after President Biden bowed out.

Let’s not forget, Pelosi was one of the driving forces behind the effort to push Biden out following his disastrous debate performance in June.

That move not only exposed the fractures within the Democratic Party but also appears to have caused lingering tensions between Pelosi and the president.

Ana Navarro, a co-host and vocal Harris supporter, brought up the obvious strain between Pelosi and the Biden camp.

“There is a perception among some that there’s a lot of hurt feelings, because you played an outsized role in him stepping down,” Navarro said.

But Pelosi, ever the political veteran, brushed off the question, opting instead to talk up Biden’s so-called “patriotic, selfless” decision.

Pelosi’s involvement in effectively clearing the way for Kamala Harris to secure the nomination is what critics have pointed to as a subversion of the democratic process.

By giving Harris the nod without allowing the voters to weigh in, Democrats essentially handpicked their candidate behind closed doors—something Pelosi was quick to sidestep.

Navarro didn’t let Pelosi off the hook, reminding her that she initially called for an open process.

“You didn’t endorse Kamala. You wanted an open process, despite knowing her very well from San Francisco,” Navarro pressed.

Pelosi stuck to her script, doubling down on the claim that the process was “open.”

However, it’s clear from her defense that she was more focused on playing political games than allowing true competition.

“Anybody could have gotten in,” she claimed, glossing over the fact that Harris was the obvious choice from the start, benefiting from Pelosi’s calculated support.

Pelosi’s attempt to rewrite history shows how entrenched she is in the party’s inner workings, and while she praises Harris as “politically astute,” it’s clear that Pelosi’s hand was behind much of the process that left Democratic voters on the sidelines.

And it may not work out for the best.

Kamala is starting to lag behind in the polls despite glowing media coverage across the country.

Maybe they should’ve taken one more risk other than canning Biden and canned Kamala too.
