The president wants to do everything possible to give himself an unfair advantage in the 2024 election. He and his Democrat lackeys have no shame in this.
And this proposed election ban by the Biden campaign has Trump seething.
Two presidential debates have finally been scheduled as of Wednesday.
The first debate will take place on June 27 and CNN will host it. The second debate will happen in September.
“Donald Trump lost two debates to me in 2020. Since then, he hasn’t shown up for a debate. Now he’s acting like he wants to debate me again. Well, make my day, pal,” Biden said in a post on X while announcing his official intentions to debate the former president.

But there is a catch to all of this. Biden’s campaign has told the Commission on Presidential Debates that it will not be participating in their debates but only ones that are organized by television networks.
The Biden campaign also wants to ban audiences from watching the debates in person.
“The Commission’s model of building huge spectacles with large audiences at great expense simply isn’t necessary or conducive to good debates,” the president’s campaign said in a letter to the Commission.
“The debates should be conducted for the benefit of the American voters, watching on television and at home – not as entertainment for an in-person audience with raucous or disruptive partisans and donors, who consume valuable debate time with noisy spectacles of approval or jeering.”
In the letter, the Biden campaign also referenced the presidential debates in 1960 as an example of an audience-less event, saying, “As was the case with the original televised debates in 1960, a television studio with just the candidates and moderators is a better, more cost-effective way to proceed: focused solely on the interests of voters.”

It sounds like Joe Biden and his campaign are flat-out scared. Why else would they want to ban audiences from attending?
They simply are afraid that Trump will wipe the floor with Biden in front of a live audience that will cheer the former president on.
Biden will try and avoid this potential defeat by enlisting the help of Ron Klain, a former White House chief of staff, to help him with debate prep, according to the New York Times.
Klain also spoke with MSNBC host Jen Psaki on a possible debate between Trump and Biden, saying that “rules are going to have to be enforced.”
“I think what we have to see is something different than we saw in 2016 and 2020, where the debate commission lost control of the debates, Trump didn’t follow the rules at all, he talked over his opponents, there wasn’t a fair division of time, it was more a spectacle than a debate,” Klain added.
“That’s always going to be true with Donald Trump on the stage.”
Why won’t the Left just focus on trying to help improve Biden’s chances on the debate stage instead of worrying about Trump and a live audience?
Maybe it’s because they know Joe Biden’s chances of winning any debate are slim to none, so they have to try and adjust the rules in their favor.
Sounds like a typical strategy by the radical Left.
