According to The Daily Wire, these documents reveal a deliberate push to paint a picture of Russian interference, despite earlier intelligence community conclusions that Russia “did not impact” the election through cyberattacks. Conservatives are now rallying for justice, demanding that those behind the alleged hoax face prosecution.

A Demand for Accountability

Gabbard is unequivocal in her stance, declaring, “Every person involved in this conspiracy must be investigated and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.” She has committed to turning over “all documents” to the Department of Justice to ensure accountability.

The revelations have sparked outrage among conservatives, who see them as confirmation of a long-suspected political scheme to undermine President Donald Trump.

House Speaker Mike Johnson amplified the call for action, stating on X, “DISMANTLING THE DEEP STATE! Journalist Julie Kelly drew parallels to the Biden Justice Department’s prosecution of January 6 defendants, arguing on X, “If Biden DOJ successfully prosecuted 2 dozen or so J6ers with seditious conspiracy for planning to attend the Capitol protest and enter a government building on a Wednesday afternoon (even though a few did not), then it should be used against the Russiagate perps.” Her post highlights the perceived double standard in pursuing political adversaries.

Nick Sorter, another journalist, took the rhetoric further, describing the actions detailed in Gabbard’s documents as a “treasonous conspiracy” by Obama-era officials. “ARRESTS AND PERP WALKS MUST HAPPEN!” he insisted. “Treason MUST be prosecuted!”

Skepticism Amid the Fury

Not all conservatives are optimistic about the outcome. Daily Wire host Matt Walsh, while agreeing that those responsible should face justice, expressed doubt about whether action will follow.

“Unpopular opinion but I don’t care about this unless they actually arrest and prosecute the culprits, including Obama,” he said.

Walsh criticized the tendency of Republicans to voice outrage without pursuing legal consequences, stating, “The typical pattern by Republicans since forever is to make these kinds of claims (which I don’t doubt by the way), but to make them on Twitter and Fox News, and never actually bring it to a court of law so that the parties responsible can be held accountable for their crimes.”

Walsh’s frustration boiled down to a pointed challenge: “I’m tired of it. Go arrest these people and bring them to justice. Then I’ll care. If you won’t do that then what does any of this matter?”
