Radical Leftists will do anything to go after someone they view as a threat. That includes attacking a prominent Republican presidential candidate.
And Ron DeSantis went nuclear after being hit with a heart-stopping ambush.
Governor DeSantis (R-FL) has had his work cut out for him the past month.
From participating in the first Republican Primary debate, responding to a deadly shooting in Jacksonville, and working to help his state of Florida recover from a hurricane, the Governor has been nothing short of busy.
While recently speaking at an event in Jacksonville, Florida, DeSantis was aggressively shouted at by a heckler.
The heckler blamed DeSantis for the Jacksonville shooting that involved a racist madman who shot and killed three people because they were black.
“First of all, I did not allow anything with that. I’m not going to let you accuse me of committing criminal activity,” DeSantis responded.
“I am not going to take that. I am not going to take that.”
Governor DeSantis went on by saying that the gunman was placed on mental health detention by police well before the shooting occurred.
“He should have been ruled ineligible [to buy a gun], but they didn’t involuntarily commit him and so, they weren’t…” DeSantis continued before being spoken over by the ramblings of the man.
But what really threw DeSantis and the room full of his supporters over the edge, was when the heckler said the Governor has allowed people to hunt down black people in Florida.
Ron DeSantis was sure to snap back, saying, “Oh, that is nonsense. That is such nonsense. We’ve done more – we’ve done more to support law enforcement in this state than anybody and throughout the United States. Our crime rate in Florida is at a 50-year low.”
“We have enacted policies so that people have a chance to live in safety. We have attracted people to come to this state in large part because we’ve had a commitment to public safety, so the notion that somehow we’re not supportive of safety is absurd, and we’ve put our money where our mouth is.”
The heckler was quickly escorted out from the event as the crowd applauded DeSantis’ quick response to the audacious claims.

Some of the policies the Governor mentioned, involve recently giving $1 million in security funds to Edward Waters University in Jacksonville, where the shooting took place.
“We’ve put support behind policies to hold people accountable who hurt other people. You haven’t seen us releasing people from prison,” DeSantis said in his conclusion to the heckler.
“When they hurt – when you do the crime, you do the time.”
Ron DeSantis’ tough-on-crime policies only prove his point. Florida will not tolerate crime like Democrate-run states which let criminals wreak havoc on their cities.
