Donald Trump has faced all kinds of threats since entering politics. They don’t look like they’ll be stopping anytime soon, however.
And the Secret Service has made a shocking arrest after Trump’s home is nearly invaded.
Woman Detained at Mar-a-Lago with “Urgent Message” for Trump
Late on July 7, Caroline Shaw, a 49-year-old from Orlando, was arrested at President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Florida, after claiming she had “an urgent message” for him. Shaw’s startling admission to U.S. Secret Service agents that her vehicle contained guns led to her immediate detention and sparked a swift investigation.
According to court documents gathered by Fox News Digital, Shaw drove a van to the estate’s south gate just before 10 p.m., parking along Southern Boulevard. She approached the gate on foot, insisting she needed to “speak with Trump urgently.”
Her mention of firearms in the van prompted agents to secure the vehicle for further examination, though it remains unclear whether any weapons were found. Trump was in Washington, D.C., at the time, far from the Palm Beach property.
Shaw’s encounter with law enforcement revealed additional issues. Her driver’s license has been suspended since April 2023 because of unpaid traffic fines, and her vehicle’s registration expired in December 2021.
She faces misdemeanor charges for driving with a suspended license and operating an unregistered vehicle.
Held at Palm Beach County Jail on a $2,000 bond, Shaw entered a not-guilty plea during a July 8 court appearance. A judge barred her from being near Trump or visiting Mar-a-Lago or any of his other properties.
Palm Beach Police also requested a risk protection order to prevent Shaw from possessing firearms or ammunition for at least a year.
This incident is part of a troubling pattern of security breaches at Mar-a-Lago. Recently, several individuals have attempted unauthorized access to the estate.
On July 31, Zijie Li, a 39-year-old from California, was arrested after multiple attempts to enter and was later found incompetent to stand trial. Farbod Dolat, 53, from Sarasota, was detained on November 14, 2024, for allegedly driving a stolen vehicle to meet Trump, facing felony charges.
Patrick Webster Warren, 42, from South Carolina, was apprehended on August 13, 2024, after passing barricades to seek Trump’s autograph.
Ruby Rodriguez, 62, from California, faced trespassing charges in December 2024 and was sentenced to probation. A teenager was caught on December 5, 2024, planning to apparently graffiti “Carthage vs. Rome” on a wall at Mar-a-Lago.
Bijan Arceo, from Sunny Isles Beach, scaled the estate’s wall in January 2025 and was placed in a pretrial program with community service. Jeffrey Daniel Olson was arrested in February 2025 for going onto restricted grounds. He now is looking at federal charges.
Adrienne Tajirian tried to have a meal with Donald Trump Jr. in April 2025 and received probation in May.
Anthony Thomas Reyes, 23, from Texas, was arrested on June 3, 2025, after climbing the estate’s wall. He claimed that he wanted to marry President Trump’s granddaughter and wanted to “spread the gospel.” He was let go on a $50,000 bond after giving a not guilty plea to trespassing.
These recurring incidents point to the ongoing challenge of securing Mar-a-Lago, a property that continues to draw attention due to its high-profile owner. The Secret Service remains on high alert to ensure the safety of the estate and its occupants.
